I’ve been using Dr Bonner’s toothpaste for about a year now. I’ve done quite a bit of research on toothpaste ingredients and this toothpaste has by far the best and safest ingredients of any toothpaste anywhere. I’ve tried Hello, Dr Ginger’s, Charcoal and many others.Hydrated silica, Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Carbonate are all safe. Studies have shown they are no more abrasive than regular toothpaste if you’re brushing properly. Moreover, no SLS, no fluoride, and no titanium dioxide a combination that’s difficult to find.The taste leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean. Yes when you first switch it will taste a little earthy but you get over that within the first week and it never tastes like that again.Yes it’s somewhat difficult to squeeze through the tube but that’s a small inconvenience for a top quality product. In order to find gold, you have to dig a little. This product is absolute gold.

My cracked lips are healing up very nicely!! I have had SEVERE cracked lips since I was a teenager (now 49).Extremely painful, bleeding, peeling lips. I never understood why. I eat very healthy. Only been drinking water for the last 5-6 years. Still always had painful lips. Constantly putting chapstick on. I have tried every brand of chapstick made. They would still be cracked. On the third day of me using this toothpaste, they became softer and softer. I have now been chapstick free for the first time since 1990!! I have used this toothpaste for about 3 months now, and my lips are still very soft.SLS is the DEVIL!!Get it out of your system!Get it out of your house!I had a love/hate relationship when I first tried this toothpaste. For me, it has a very strong scent. I do not like strong smells in ANYTHING!! I have come to enjoy this though. The scent/flavor goes away within a few minutes and I am just left with a refreshing, clean feeling in my mouth. Do not ever rinse your mouth out with water after brushing. Wait at least 30 minutes after brushing. Let the toothpaste do it's job! The paste is thick. It reminds me of what my Grandparents used to use in the 80's, back when there where only about 5 brands of toothpaste to pick from. It does lather up really nicely and quickly. It is a really great toothpaste.

Works great, good taste, good strength, feels clean right after.

The flavor of this is exactly like your average toothpaste but the texture is a bit strange. It’s very thick and when I’m done brushing a feels a tad gritty. Overall a great toothpaste!

The fact that this doesn't foam up like most toothpastes is something I knew ahead of time - so not a surprise - but something I still had to get used to. I need to trust the product and my brushing and all is good. However, getting the toothpaste out of the tube is surprisingly challenging. I keep thinking it'll soften and be easier to squeeze out over time, but nope. I don't keep it in a cold place either. It's really a pain, honestly. The taste is very nice, not harsh. But, I wouldn't get it again as-is. Brushing teeth should be an easy process. I find I'm reaching for another brand I have more often 'cause it's so hard to squeeze this stuff out. (I'm not wimpy, but not a weight lifter either.)

This toothpaste was so thick I could barely squeeze it onto my brush. Taste was ok but who wants to fight with the tube? I tried it because it had clean ingredients and no fluoride, which is poisonous.
