Q: Is the back of this padded the way the shoulder straps seem to be, so there is a cushion against the back?

It's lightly padded; I've found it comfortable for an hour or more.

Q: does this come with the oxygen tank?

It contains no oxygen tank, just a storage bag.

Q: Why do they put the wrong gromet size in these bags?

Not sure, I don't use the gromet holes. I use the velcro slots at the top for my hose.

Q: how are you all getting the tube through the hole??? The end of the cannula is too big to fit through the hole?? And this is an infant cannula even….

Don't use the hole. On either side of the carrier are velcro strips. You can pull apart either side and thread the hose thru it. Attach to O@ and that's it.
