Finally doing a color that’s pretty close to my hardwood floor
Searched for weeks for a floor outlet kit for my finished hardwood floor. Wanted a color that was close to my Bruce “gunstock” wood color, since it will be visible from two rooms. Most were too shiny brass or brushed nickel. Another brand’s brown was very dark. Bronze looked almost black. As soon as I opened this one my wife was happy with the color - a medium brown, kind of a dark caramel.Won’t install until after the floor is refinished in a few weeks, but it looks very easy as long as we are between joists and can run power under the floor from a wall outlet about 7 feet away.Also, I ordered an outlet with 2 USB A and one USB C port, and two 15 amp outlets to upgrade the one that came with the floor box kit. It fits perfectly, making it possible to charge 2 computers and 2 phones from a single floor outlet between our couch and chair, with no need for phone charger cubes.

Feels solid.
Haven't installed it yet but it is made out of aluminum and feels solid. Will follow up if it give me any problems.

What a joke! These were installed all over our house AND THEY CANT BE OPENED!!! I would never recommend this product to anyone. Ever. I will tell everyone I know to avoid like the plague. You can’t even find out how by googling it. Stupid.
