We have been deep fry turkeys every year for Christmas and Thanksgiving for a long time. My old one quit after several years. So, I bought this one.The burner heats up the oil a lot faster than my old one. And the burner base is built a lot better. I also like the pot, it is bigger than my old one. I normally do 15lb turkeys, but may try a bigger one this year since my pot is big enough.Comes with a lot of extras. We cooked fish and fries at the lake a few weeks ago and it went great!I am very pleased with my purchase! We will see how many years I can get out of this one!

What a Surprise
I have been hearing about deep fried turkey for some time now, but I was skeptical. But, after deep frying a turkey this year, with this deep fryer. Every person, every family and anytime cooking a turkey is mentioned, this deep fryer should be used. It makes seafood just as good.

Great fryer. Juicy bird
First time making a turkey in my life. Almost 50 years old and figure why not give it a try. Directions were easy to understand. Assembly was simple enough. Made two turkeys so far and had rave reviews.

Cheap but works.
Easy to assembly, more accessories then other at similar prices. Easy to clean. Gets to temp without problems. Decent size and fair quality. I wish the basket was a little bigger to match the size of the pot. Wouldn't trust letting the water/oil run low and not burn a hole through it. Thin metal but have done crabs and boils in it without problems. Hopefully turkey this year.

Awesome frying kit
I have been wanting a deep fryer kit for a long while. So I finally pulled the trigger and bought this one. Glad I did. Very easy to use and so far is a great product. The first thing I cooked was a whole chicken. It came out perfect and tasted amazing!! The regulator for the propane is super easy to use. I used 4 gallons of oil in the tall pot, and the burner got the oil to 350 degrees within 20 minutes. Once I got the chicken in and the temp back up to 350, a simple adjustment on the regulator kept the oil at 350 no problems!The cooker is sturdy and the pots are great quality. I can see myself using this a LOT!! This thing will allow me to fry fish, fried chicken and other fried foods outside with hardly any mess!!Right now I am highly satisfied with this fry kit. I do recommend it. If any issues arise in the near future, I will update this review.
