Good and bad news. I am a 45 year vet of the trade. Recently retired and needed this tool for the unexpected evap smog failure of my old 88 P.U. Truck.Bad #1. While using the smoker and searching underneath for smoke, i noticed an oil drop hanging on the bottom of the fuel filler hose. This smoke seems to condense when it hits the cold surfaces of my evap system. That hose was old but did not have a hole there. It seeped through it. Good thing I saw it quickly before it introduced all that condensed oil into the gas tank. I replaced the hose.Bad #2 is that this stuff stinks like a skunk. You smell like the smoke long after and have to change your clothes. And I stayed out of the way of the smoke because it smelled bad. Based on these 2 factors I returned it and it is sold $20 cheaper elsewhere but Amazon does not do price matching.The good is that regulator is crucial and excellent. It leaves you worry free that you may be over pressurizing the system. You can destroy many expensive parts without very low air pressure regulation while testing the evap system. I did check the accuracy of the regulator with a manometer and it was spot on.After the 2 "bad" fiascoes I mentioned above, I just used the air regulator from the kit and my manometer to find 2 leaks in the system. I used soapy water after pressurizing the system.If you are having trouble finding the leak, i suggest you test in sections. I even took some sections off the car and bench tested them with the air regulator and manometer and soapy water and found a literal pinhole in a hose.This tool has potential if they change the smoke agent to something that does not turn a liquid to a gas and back to a liquid inadvertently when hitting cold surfaces inside your system. And the smell is awful. I had to wear a mask.

This tool has helped me a lot to find evap leaks, vacuum leaks. Very well worth the money.
