The 1 pound bag had more than 50, 5 inch long, rolled cinnamon sticks. There are several layers in each roll. They have a mild, wonderful anroma and add to the flavor of my coffee each day. Depending on the size of the mug I am using, at times I cut them into 2 pieces using a sharp blade. They do not crack or break into little pieces. The bag they are packaged in is resealable which saves me having to purchase a separate storage container for them.

I cut the sticks and drop it in my tea. The sticks are very fresh, completely dried, and could be broken by hand very easily. Good taste. and acceptable Flavor and aroma. The price for its quality and amount is very good. From now on this would be my favorite brand.

This particular type of cinnamon doesn't have the intensity of others. If you're looking for that robust, in your face cinnamon taste, try store bought or Cassia cinnamon. This type of cinnamon is more mild and also widely used for other purposes (medicinal). It contains less coumarin which gives it a milder taste. It is softer which makes it more ideal for teas, decoctions, etc. If you like a mild hint of cinnamon, this is for you. Excellent product. It came in fresh and the color was perfect for this type of cinnamon. I infuse this type of cinnamon when I cook curries, and for medicinal purposes. The smell is a light cinnamon flavor with a note of sweetness.💯

If you want that beautiful smooth cinnamon flavor, this is it. We use a stick daily inour coffee percolator. Sri Lankin cinnamon is the way to go. (Ceylon)

I bought this after trying another brand that I was reasonable happy with because it had more/higher reviews. Unfortunately it is terrible. There is an odd aroma that smells like chemicals and it is extremely bitter. It doesn't taste like cinnamon. Also not eligible for return. Just don't!

I've order the cinnamon from this seller b4. They change from square plastic container to bag. Anyway。saw other reviews stated that there is no cinnamon smell. They are comparing to cassia , the crap cinnamon, which has a smell at first. But to get the smell out, you have to boil this type of cinnamon for 20 minutes! The taste and smell is great. I also add other herbs like goji berry to it. Bottomline, this is good stuff!

In buying this you are not supporting the fake cinnamon coming from the (cassia) species/strand. It's harmful to human consumption if not (Ceylon) support Sri Lanka in this charade on human health.
