The vacuum adapter should be made to snap in more securely.
Nice saw for a small job.The photo led me to think that the saw blades were larger that they are. They are 3 3/8 inches. The saw performed well, but the vacuum adapter came loose from the saw a couple times when attached to my vacuum hose.

Great for small cuts
I love this saw, I used to cut up pallets with a reciprocating saw which got the job done. Enter this plunge saw and it makes cutting them a breeze and pretty much effortless.

It's easy to set the depth of cut.
I really like this saw because it's so light weight and easy to use. Some people complain that you can't set the depth, but I easily put a nylon strap through the thin holes in the front of the bottom plate, wrapped it around the handle and tied it with the blade exposed at just over 3/4". I can make hand-held cuts easily without having to press down at all. (Of course, that's ok only for me; you're not allowed to do it, right??) I don't bother to change it for 1/4" ply and it still works great!Update 1-4-24: It's becoming my favorite saw. It's so light I just go to grab it every time!
