Adds a stable base
This worked out for me quite well. I was putting in gravel for a carport that I built and it helps stabilize the gravel and keep it from spilling out on the existing driveway and adjacent areas. It is easy to install. In my case I put a wooden frame around the area and screwed the grid into it. Very strong material in the grid.

I’d buy it again
I was skeptical whether this would actually keep gravel from moving on a sloped pathway.. but I was pleasantly surprised. It worked very well. I used another one in a parking area and again was impressed that the gravel stayed mostly in place after driving on it. It creates a much firmer surface walking and driving.

Appears to hold mulch but …,
I like the concept of this because I have a tree with mulch around it on an incline. The only thing o disliked were the stakes to pin this too the ground. They are less than 1 inchSee the picture. I had to buy my own 6 inch stakes to insure t this stayed in place. This was pretty costly but preferable in comparison to glue for my rubber mulch

Does the job
Exactly what I needed to lift a sunken sidewalk up.Couple tips:1. The dimensions are flexible. 9x17 is only 1 possible configuration, the now you pull in 1 direction the less you will have in the other. So you really need to consider how many "grids" you need. I'm not even sure how you would estimate, but I thought I could use 2, ended up needing just over that.2. Fill with gravel SLOWLY. If you just dunno the rocks on with a wheelbarrow, they will get under the grid and lift it up. It's very difficult to get out back down without removing the rocks.
