Adequate. Turned out to be more expensive than expected.
Other reviewers have mentioned about poorly design case and this is true. Some of the slots needs to be "massaged" with low heat from the heat gum to reshape them to hold the parts properly. No big deal, I plan to fabricate my own rack to store taps and dies in a more accessible way.The finish on the dies is questionable. I like this set because most of the taps offers both threading and cleaning type for most of each size. The only real disappointment is related to the extra "import fees" that I had to pay to get that set. Those fees represent nearly 15% additional cost on top of the announced sale price.

Upgrading Plastic Case
The taps and dies are an ok hobby set. I have a good Starrett T-handle Tap Holder that I'll use with the taps. I have a good Die Holder for my mini-lathe to use the dies. So, I'll be using the taps and dies with my better-made tap and die holders. Now, for the case. As others have documented, the small taps in the middle easily fall out of their recesses when the case is closed and turned upside down. The other taps and dies rattle around ... lot of slop in the fit of the lid-to-case bottom. Not good. I got some foam sheet from a craft store ... 18" x 12". Got it in 2mm thickness and another sheet in 5mm thickness. I cut the sheet of 2mm thickness with an X-Acto knife and scissors to fit the contour of the overall case inside profile then used double sided tape to adhere it to the inside surface of the case top. This enabled the case to snugly close and secured the larger taps and dies. However, the smaller SAE and Metric taps in the middle area still came out of their recesses upon lid closing and turning the case upside down. This is because there is some concavity downwards in the middle of the bottom of the case where the tap recesses are and also because the smaller taps are, well, small. So, I cut a 6" x 2" rectangle of the 5mm thick foam sheet and put it roughly in the center of the 2mm foam previously mounted. Again used double sided tape to mount it, this time to the 2mm sheet already mounted on the case top. This added foam thickness across the upper half of the small-sized taps was enough to keep them in place upon lid closing and turning the case upside down, sideways, etc. So the loose taps and dies problem appears to be solved with application of the 2mm and 5mm foam sheets custom cut as shown in the photo. The case still closes evenly and the two front locking flaps easily snap tightly with the foam inserts as shown in the photo.

Work great for retreating or cleaning up a thread
I purchased both, metric and standard sets for re threading purposes at work. Cleaning out rusted bolt holes, things of that nature. They work great for that! Have only used them a couple of times with drilling and tapping new threads but it held up with no chips in the taps with soft steel anyway. It also comes with every size imaginable fine thread as well so thats nice. The thing I don't like about them is there are some cases where I can't use the T handle and have to use my tap sockets to adapt to an extention and a ratchet. These bits square ends are cut differently and don't fit them. I also don't like the handles. They are very light and seem like they could break easily. The taps and dies themselves tho seem to be holding up surprisingly well for the price tho. Not one chip out of one yet so I would not recommend for a machine shop by any means but for my purposes they are working great!

Great for the price, needs better handling
Great product for the price. Simple and easy to use. However when I receive the package the case was damaged in several places (see attached pictures). All the tools were there and not damaged.
