Let me start by saying we loved this light so much we got a second one to put above another canvas. Super easy to install. The light itself attaches to the bracket by magnet. You can remove the light from the bracket to charge it. Its a very strong magnet we have not had any issues with it coming off on it's own. Initially after we fully charged them we left them on for 2 days and they were still going strong. We have had them about 2 weeks now and haven't had to recharge them. There are 3 lighting colors, and each of those has a dimmable setting also. Everything can be controlled by the remote, which we have our lights both in the same room and if you just point the remote towards the ceiling it will control both lights at the same time. If you want to control just one light then just aim the remote at the light you want to control and it will just change that one light. It gives off a great glow depending on what you are wanting. In the pictures the first one is during the day, the second is at night with no other lighting on in the room. I really love the fact that there are no wires to hide, it charges easily and last quit awhile! I will definitely get another if I add more artwork to my home.

This picture light is wonderful! The simple modern design looks great on the wall. The light is held onto the base with a strong magnet. You can adjust the position of the light to shine where you want it or to suit your needs. It can be used when the power goes out by simply removing it from the base, like a wand. The light is turned on by a touch switch on the end and has 3 variations of light: bright white, soft white, and an in-between-the-two white light. It also comes with a remote control which allows you to turn off/on the light, switch between the 3 shades of white light, increase/decrease the light brightness, and set a timer for the light to automatically go off at 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes. It comes with its own recharging USC cord and takes about a full day to recharge once the battery life has been completely exhausted. This little light really adds to our front entryway, it's been a great purchase. We've bought 3 now!

We've enjoyed this light over a picture for two years. I recharged it 3 or 4 times over the past two years, and now the rechargeable light is 'kaput'. While the light is good, and it's easy to recharge, two years doesn't seem like a very long time for a rechargeable light to last before it is no longer rechargeable. Other than that, it's a good product.

The media could not be loaded. I am so happy I purchased these lights, they are so awesome and could elevate any gallery wall!! They also provide great light in my small hallway that doesn’t have one, but can be dimmed to your liking. Very sturdy and well made all around. Incredibly easy to hang and comes with extra drywall anchors & screws, although they are not terribly heavy. The light part is magnetized to the mount with a very strong magnet, I’m not at all concerned that they’d fall off, and it’s so convenient to just pop them off the mount to recharge them. Remote has a dimmer & color selection, I discovered one remote works for both lights (you do have to be within a few feet of the lights for it to work). I didn’t even have to program the remote. There is also a power button on the side of the light itself, a very light touch/tap to operate it. They have it all. BUY THEM!!!

Love the look when mounted but doesn't charge fully, ever.

This thing lasted actually a really long time- takes a while to charge probably a half a day! But it’s so perfect. I love it.

Firstly, I looked at this option because I think spending hundreds of dollars on a small art light is absurd. If you've got a Monet above your fireplace, then I'm sure this wasn't an option for you anyway...The install is fairly straightforward but I really would have liked the option, given the weight, to not have to drill holes in the wall. Or, while the screws are black and somewhat concealed, I would have liked to have some sort of cover to clean it up. Again, for the price, this is really just nitpicking.The bracket is really my biggest issue for a few reasons. 1. The metal is not perfectly straight, so if you level the bracket against the wall from the mounting plate, the light mounting point may not be perfectly level, so you have to put the bracket on the wall, level the light portion, and then lock it down. I also wish there was an option for a shorter bracket.The last minor quibble I have is the light mount. I love that it's magnetic, and it's adjustable, but I wish it had a specific shoe that locked it in place so it didn't move side to side. The main reason is when you remove it from the bracket to charge, and put it back on, you have to make sure it's centered again with the painting. It's a minor annoyance.Regardless, I still ordered a second one for the other painting in the living room and would recommend it.
