Works as described... Very easy to install.Much faster to fill up the tank and the whole process uses less waste water...

simple and effective
bought because it is the best way to use an RODI filter, running hard copper lines for it before I had the money to buy it even(used a shaped U of fittings to be ready) it works fine and even acts like an ASO when input reaches output(though the membrane is pressurized at that moment, had to do that because my flush wouldn't work with the ASO)so yeah 10/10 would buy again(if I actually ever need another)

Fixed Low Pressure and Expansion Tank Not Fillling
My expansion tank on my RO system stopped filling up about 6 months ago. This had been installed for about 5 years and was US Water brand RO system. It never really had great pressure at the faucet but worked ok. When it stopped filling the tank I tried new filters, new membrane, and any of the components that might help with pressure. I even took pictures of the whole setup to US water to see if they could see something I may be doing wrong. All to no avail, still little to no RO water!! At wits end I bought this permeate pump and it solved the issue. After I bought the permeate pump I found a youtube video made by US water as to how to install. Super super easy to install and now have perfect water pressure at the faucet and the tank fills as the system was designed. If you have pressure problems on your RO system and have eliminated any obvious problems you should give this a try. 100% satisfied with this very reasonably priced solution.

Absolutely Increases Water Pressure
Item arrived today. Took me longer to document and take pics of the existing setup than it did to hook everything up.My RO filter mount didn't have pre drilled holes for this, but that was easy for me to accomplish. 20 mins later I had the pump installed. No leaks is always a bonus.Followed the instructions.Water pressure on the good water, ie permeate, is totally noticeable. From the RO faucet to the ice maker and water on the fridge. That was the main problem to solve.I've read about TDS creep when you remove the ASV as they recommend. I think we run enough water on the daily here where that shouldn't be an issue, but I plan to monitor and have plans in place if that occurs, not for this review. The unit I just received is indeed rather silent, no more noticeable than when regular discharge occurred. Initially, I ordered the 100GPD version, returned and didn't even attempt install as the reviews mentioned loud clicking when the unit was "working". This 50gpd unit is definitely not clicking nor noticeable. If anything I think it's an awesome intention all around. For those concerned about tds creep, to each situation their own. Again, plenty of ways to deal with that, if that becomes an issue. So far, in 2 hours, I can see a difference in the pressure on the end points, so we'll see how my ice maker responds.Holding out that 5th star for future results, but I'm optimistic overall. This is not a paid or compensated review, ie. I didn't get a penny for writing this quality review. Took more time to write this review than it did to install the unit.

Works great
Bought this to reduce waste water usage on new RO system. Water is expensive here and we are on a septic system so this should drop waste water usage from about 5-7 gallons per gallon to about 1. Also noticed that the system recharges much faster with the pump.

Works for about a year
The pump worked great but only lasted a little over a year. Will be looking for another pump this time.

It definitely boosted the pressure
The media could not be loaded. Works exactly as described, didn’t even know these were a thing till I was reading reviews on different reverse osmosis systems. It definitely builds a lot more pressure in the tank. It makes a funny noise as it cycles back and fourth to build the pressure back up in the tank after use. I posted a video what it sounds like. Only makes the noise for a bit while it builds pressure back up in the tank.
