my GS weighs about 110 lbs, so this ball is big enough to where it can become a chocking hazard, luther picked it up lol and put it on his bed and begin to lick and chew on it surprisingly when i went back a few hours later to get it it has absolutely no chew marks on it so it definitely is durableCONS: when you put this in water i don't think that it is completely filling the ball up with water, so when i put it in the water for the first time i press as hard as i can on the ball under the water to try to help it suck in water betteri wish it was another method used to get the water in the ball because in the summer time i want the ball to stay as cold as possible for as long as possible, so the bigger the ice ball the better, maybe if you could have a type plug method where you could pour the water in the ball and then plug it?also all dogs are not big as my Luther, it would be nice if you would make these in various sizes

This is a really cool concept for a summer time dog toy! First off, it feels very well made and quite soft. I think the size is perfect for my dog and she seems to really have a great time playing with it. I really like the idea that you freeze it and it becomes a toy that can help cool your dog during the warmer months. When frozen, it is not hard and still somewhat squishy for the dog to catch and of course not hurt her. Essentially it's like a soft ice pack that we may use for sore muscles that dogs can actually play with. All things considered, I really like this and my dog seems to, also! It's a really "cool" gift idea for any pup.

This is a great treat for a dog on a hot day, but it leaks all over the place as it thaws. I would only use it outside. The plastic is somewhat durable. My dog has used it a few times now and he hasn't destroyed it yet.

I let it soak, but it absorbs little water. I tried squeezing the air out, but little air is displaced. Then I tried freezing it, how could maker screw something this simple up?

My dog is a GSD/Border Collie mix who is very fuzzy. During the summer time here in Texas, he can get very hot very quickly. This ball is definitely going to come in handy. I followed the instructions and put it in water allowing the air bubbles to escape and the ball to be filled with water. Then I froze it. I gave it to my dog and he absolutely loved it! He carried it around with him for a long time. My dog is an aggressive chewer so I have to be careful what I give him. This ball stood up to all his attempts to tear it apart.
