On the 4x6 increaser, there is an inside ring to stop the 4 in pipe being inserted too far. What is the inside diam of that ring?

I purchased the 2 X 1 1/2 inch fitting and used to connect a 2 inch PVC pipe to a 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe.

Can this be used above ground when outside temps get below zero? If not, what can I use?

This part, an increaser/reducer, is intended for non-pressure applications for both above and below ground use. Please make sure this part is not being used to convey pressurized fluids, as this fitting is not rated for that, and fluids at or below 32°F do freeze, likely causing a failure to occur. If this part is installed in a drain, waste, and vent application, gravity and proper installation (1/4” per foot slope in the entire system) should move all standing water and therefore mitigating any freeze potential.
