Had to take my toddler son to the ER because one of the eggs broke and he swallowed the pellets, the Xrays showed 12 metalic pellets in his intestines, 12!!!! Please do not buy this set of instruments! Extremely hazardous. I'm waiting for lead tests to arrive.

Dangerous!!!! The bells fell off of the shakey toy and one of my twins almost swallowed it!!!

For our niece's first Christmas, we got her a set of bongos (the same we got our daughter and she LOVED them). We knew exactly how annoying it would be. So when her first birthday came, brother in law specified "NO DRUMS". This set is PERFECT in everyway. We have not opened it yet, however when you move the box you can hear the bells and tambourine and I am BEYOND excited to see the devastated look on his face when she opens her gift! Without a doubt, these are absolutely annoying BUT it is beyond exciting when you see the light in those little eyes as they learn how to play new instruments. The best worst headache for a great price!

What I liked: A variety of fun instruments for children of a wide range of ages.What I didn't like: a metal stick with a sharp edge for the triangle and a tab holding the triangle that comes off and could be swallowed by a little child.

My 15 month old Granddaughter is SO happy about her very own 'band' set !! She's VERY curious about sounds right now (whatever makes noise) and this set keeps her busy for quite awhile vs. a lot of other toys that have her attention for about a day. She zooms right to this set when she comes to Grandma's house :) Her very favorite instrument is the drum/ tambourine. A big plus about this set is that the instruments are very well made and don't sound annoying !!
