Works well and as soon as my phone comes within range it updates the various statistics.The range is 10metres which isn't as far as some other systems, however there is a direct relationship between Bluetooth range and current drawn. The current is an insignificant 1.5milliamps, so there is almost no penalty for knowing your battery state, however more range would increase this current and the effect on the battery they monitor could easily render it impractical and worse it's charge state.Nice product!

As long as you are either in the car or standing next to it as I don’t believe this is Bluetooth 4 but in saying that I have got it fitted to my car and it does exactly what it claims to do like check crank volts etc personally I would have given this 5 stars easily but the lack of Bluetooth range lets it down

Bought to reassure myself that my EV is charging the 12v battery properly, as I’ve read that the 12v battery does not charge properly on EVs, it is perfect for keeping an eye on it as the app will show you the daily charging times & voltages and state of the battery, the app only works when you are close I.e. within 10’.
