Did not work
Have 4 others that all work but this latest one does not work. The low battery light comes on almost immediately and the voltage across the batteries drops. Batteries get warm so I guess there is a short in there somewhere. Turning the switch to ON works a couple of times then stops working

Muy bueno
Me gusta que trabaja perfectamente con agua por gravedad y riega 3 árboles sin problemas

This timer works great, especially for low pressure applications
I own both this model and the previous generation model. They both work well. There are numerous reviews that say the unit does not work in auto mode. This is not true, 1st you set the watering frequency ( how often you want the valve the open), then you set the water run time. The unit will not automatically start until AFTER THE FREQUENCY PERIOD HAS PASSED, it does not water immediately after setting it. For example if you set frequency to 24 hours and run time to 15 minutes, It will not perform its 1st 15 minute watering cycle until 24 hours from the point at which you set it. To be fair, the instructions are not very clear at all on the way this timer works in the auto mode.

Works with low pressure but leaks at faucet/tap coupling
Used this on a water barrel and it worked on the low pressure setup. However, it leaked from faucet/tap coupling and I had to use silicone sealant to seal it. There is a minor mistake in the manual - where it stated that the indicator light will flash green, it doesn’t.Also, a digital timer would have provided more flexible frequency and duration settings but I could not find one that works with low pressure.

Failed after two weeks; replacement failed the second day of use. Difficult to program.
Wow, I've had Toro products for decades that performed great. And now this piece of garbage! This is by far the worst timer I could imagine. Difficult to program, when you set the timer, it won't go on until the next time. For example, if you set it for once every 24 hours, it won't come on for 24 hours.Nowhere in the instructions does it say this! It failed after two weeks! Unfortunately, the return period expired before we placed it in service. I called Toro service and they sent a replacement, no questions asked. It ran fine the first day then the low battery light went on. I put a second set of fresh batteries in and the low battery light came on immediately and the timer won't work. It just sits there and clicks randomly. I called Toro and they said they will not issue a refund, so they are sending a third timer. They asked me to box up both timers and they sent me a prepaid return to return the old ones. No incentive for me boxing them and driving them to the local UPS store. In the meantime, my wife bought a different brand timer and it works great. I'll take the one Toro sends me and give it to the neighbor I dislike the most! I'm mad and haven't decided if I will mess with returning the old timers. I think Toro should have refunded the purchase price, not just keep sending me more of the same junk!
