It's very slim, but the front and back are solid. Rear panel is magnetic, which is how the Remarkable stays inside, and there are still indentations for the tablet's feet to fit so that the entire metal rear of the device is flat against the case.Makes the Remarkable look even better in my opinion; simple but sleek.There's a loop for the stylus, but I don't use it because I don't take the tablet out of the house, and the side magnet (on the open side of the Remarkable) works effectively.Soft felt interior, smooth exterior–not slippy smooth; it provides a little bit of a grip to prevent sliding on a table when in use.

This is a perfect case for Remarkable 2. It's very lightweight and slim. The Remarkable sticks to it magnetically. It has a pen holder so the pen doesn't just fall of when attached just magnetically. And it's very sleek looking. Great value for the money!

I don’t close the case except when I travel. The case protects well. The loop up top is nice. I keep my pen in that only when I travel. The magnet is fine for me otherwise. The tablet stays in the case nicely. I walk around all day with it. It tends to jump out when I plug it in to charge, but I know to be mindful of that.The only negative is that I wish there was a cut out by the power button. The case gets in the way of pressing the power button, but I guess it needs to protect the button too. Also, in retrospect, I wish I would have bought a case with a stand, but didn’t think of that when I was shopping.

I travel with my remarkable and this case makes it really easy and safe. Good quality and great value for money.

I tried a couple of cases for my reMarkable 2, and this one was by far the best. The case fits perfectly and the reMarkable stays in place. I also like the look and feel. My only criticism is that the pen will slide out of the pen holder after using it a couple of times. I wish the pen holder was on the side (instead of the top) of the case, where the magnets would hold the pen in place some.

A perfect fit for my remarkable and at half the cost of the brand case. Highly recommend getting this as soon as you order a remarkable.

I refused to buy a case directly from Remarkable because they are ridiculously priced. I tried three different after-market cases, and this one is the definite keeper.It is very slim, as advertised, adding virtually no bulk at all to the tablet. The magnets snap it nicely to the tablet, perfectly lined up.It won't provide much, if any, drop protection. If that's what you're looking for, you'll have to have a bulkier case. But it does provide good screen protection, and looks sharp. And for the price, it's very hard to beat.

This is my first Remarkable 2 case. The pen holder is secure--but easy to get the pen in and out. I just hope that it doesn't stretch out over time which will cause the pen to slip out. The magnetic attachment seems solid. It looks to do the job and even if the pen holder wears out, this is worth the money they are asking for it.Update: 5 weeks in and the pen holder is still tight. However the seam at the bottom of the case has come apart. No extreme handling other than taking it and and out of a briefcase. I dropped a star since this seems premature for this early of wear and tear. I probably give this case another 90 days before I have to replace it.Update 8 weeks in: the pen holder is loose. I’ll need to get a new case. Reduced this down to 2 stars. I thought it would last more than 2 months.
