Q: I bought this gels on Amazon and the color and structure is different. How to find out if they changed the formula or something wrong with it?

I noticed this, too--sort of gritty yet in a light/airy kind of way...if that makes sense. I'm not sure if that is similar to the issues you'd experienced. I assumed it was due to riding/using it on a very hot day, but now I've begun to wonder if it was due to an inconsistency re: quality control, a reformulation, or even possible contamination. I would suggest taking down the lot number from the packaging (unused packet from the same box and/or the box itself) and sending a query directly to SIS. That's what I'm going to do.

Q: If SIS is so great, why do they include 2 widely known carcinogens (acesulfame potassium and sucrolose)?

"Widely known"? Seems more than a tad hyperbolic. I'm no fan of non-nutritive sweeteners, but it may be worthwhile to consider matching your rhetoric to the facts related to the safety of these compounds.

You would have to check your individual package when it arrives. I assume they will all be different. I didn't keep min, I tossed it in the garbage because it tasted so bad. I've tried other brands and was pretty happy with the taste, but not this one. Good luck.
