Top notch mitre saw..
After a day's use and setup I can say I'm very pleased with this so far. Out of the box the saw is almost ready to use needing only the addition of the small support rails to each side, the dust bag and the timber clamp/hold down (I'm not using this generally as it gets more in the way). The quality of the finish is very good, both for the painted alloy castings that make up the base and frame and the plastic mouldings for the handle and motor housing. It's a professional looking finish which bodes well to the care taken with production - something one might expect from a Korean design/manufacture even though this is made in PRC (My Korean-made table saw from 1983 is still going strong..)In use performs well, but because this is a powerful machine it is quite loud - if I was using it for repetitive, continuous work, earplugs would be order of the day. Smooth operation of the plunge and slide and stable in my mitre saw stand.Accuracy - contrary to another review here, the angular orientation of the rail-head and saw can be adjusted with respect to the adjustable base. The saw rail mount is attached with 4 heavy duty hex bolts to the base (for which the key is supplied) and there is probably a 2-3 degree amount of play once these bolts are loosened off. It was enough for me to correct the 1-2 degrees out of true that was the arrival condition - that could have happened in shipping halfway round the world... Once set up accurately the laser aligns well and the saw seems to make repeat cuts with good accuracy. The base angle is easy to adjust and locks well with a screw handle when out of the detents. I'm using it with a vac and it's OK for dust collection, but there's still a bit that misses the collector. At this point, I'm a happy bunny - my one minor gripe is what possible idea can be behind shipping it with a 24-tooth TCT blade that is more suited to ripping than cross-cut. I've replaced that with an 80T blade for cutting flooring laminate (easy cuts, no chipping) and will add a 40-60T blade for general work - much cleaner cuts and less stress for the saw.Hope this experience continues as the work progresses.

Good saw but a few niggles
So far so good. Accuracy isn’t too bad out of the box for what I have used it for so far, but I haven’t done any super accurate work yet so time will tell.I think it is great value for money and I chose this model particularly because the machine can be positioned neared to a wall (my workshop space is small!) unlike many others on the market where the sliding mechanism is behind the saw I’m rather than in front. The blade seemed super sharp at first but after several hundred cuts I can notice the difference. I have bought a different blade with more teeth for hopefully cleaner cuts, but haven’t tried it yet.The Laser was great at first, but very easily got clogged up with sawdust so I am yet to be convinced about its value.I bought a vacuum with an auto start power socket so that it would auto start when I use the saw, however the rating of the saw is too high for the vacuum so don’t fall into that trap! When doing trench cuts, be careful not to apply too much downward pressure as you may amend up with a deeper cut at the outer edge of the trench.Final comments I have are around the power - when I use the product connected to my RCD circuit it trips the circuit. If I plug it into a different ring main with an extension cable it works fine. I have yet to get an electrician to diagnose the problem.

Very well made !
I needed more cut capacity, but have a small workshop so didn't want a standard chopsaw that is as deep as it is wide , the design of this saw has the sliding bars mounted forward allowing a much more compact footprint , this is the cheapest saw of this design that I could afford ,I would have loved a Festool , Makita Dewalt or Bosch but the £1000+ price tag for a something that cuts wood !!!!!. There was no problem with accuracy out of the box ! It is noisy , the dust collection is pretty non existent , I changed the stock blade for a higher tooth count , I don't use the laser I just cut to my mark carefully , I am extremely happy with this saw , yes I would encourage you to buy this saw , well worth it

Worth buying, good value for money, well constructed for a DIYer.
Quite a nice bit of kit, sturdy and well designed with the framework made out of well machined aluminium. The cutting unit, located on two rail mounted ball bearings work well,, practically frictionless sliding smoothly along the steel rails. As with all mitre saws it is noisy (ear defenders a must). Setting up the saw at 90deg is slightly fiddly but easy once the operation of the adjustment grub screw is figured out. Gives a good cut at 90deg and 45deg every time. Overall purchase could be improved with a 40t instead of a 24 toothed blade supplied. In spite of the attached vacuum hose a lot of sawdust misses the hose and is sprayed everywhere. The sawdust also hits the laser pointer full on and needs constant attention. As a whole, as a DIYer, very pleased with this purchase and good value. The saw, all things being equal, should last a good while. Might be a bit harsh giving 4 stars as the sawdust and laser pointer drawbacks, are not a game changer for me, but they should been spotted and easily resolved at the design and testing stage.
