Threads broke while tightening
While tightening to the 33 ft-lb torque spec in my CR-V factory manual this part started breaking apart. If I hadn't stopped and removed it it would have sheared right off, leaving the treads stuck in my engine block. I don't know if this is really a genuine Honda part.

Great lifesaver
I had bought this PCV valve to replace one that I bought from gates. The one I bought from gates caused a lot of oil to burn through the engine and even caused my exhaust to smoke. Come to find out that it was defective. I ordered a free replacement through gates, and even that one was bad. replaced both with the original Honda one and my car is working great again. I contacted Gates about having a recall of some sort and they did not respond positively. Just by the stuff on important things like this.
