The perfect solution
This was a perfect solution for our needs. We mounted the rack on the wall near our washer and dryer. The rack looks good, was well built, and relatively easy to mount. The rack folds down easily and does not take up much space. Much better for us than a standing rack.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever
I love this esthetically pleasing drying rack. It’s absolutely simplistic, functional and beautifully made. I have purchased and love their drying racks but wanted the inclusion of an outside permanent fixture in a shaded area. This large version does the trick. The wood is bare sanded maple. Because my brother has had issues with mildew on his indoor wood drying racks (unknown manufacturer) I elected to put 3 coats of water based Minwax helmsman indoor/outdoor spar urethane on all surfaces. I brushed on initially, then found better application when using a foam brush. I used both gloss and clear semi-gloss both of which left lovely protective durable finishes. This may well be overkill, but I really wanted to protect and preserve the wood. I disassembled and reassembled the rack easily to cover all surfaces. My thought is that all wood on boats exposed to water is preserved in a similar manner. I would love it if the company sold racks with the protective coating, but that may well raise the price point too much. If you have the room, going with the longer arms adds the ability to slip shirts, bras, underwear, etc. directly onto the rack, as shown in the picture.

Space saving laundry room hero
I have a laundry closet in our main hall. For years we have tripped over and kicked around a standing drying rack. I have looked for other wall solutions, but was always disappointed with the quality or size. We constantly have something drying on our drying rack.Drying Space:So far, it has enough room to dry all of the hang dry items in a loaf of laundry. I don't think it can hold an entire load, but we don't typically hang dry a whole load.I like that it collapses flat against the wall when not in use.Even though it is very functional, the solid wood makes it look like decor for the laundry room. FYI, it is unfinished wood. I put a single coat of Danish oil on it before I installed it. I see the unfinished wood as a plus. This means if you have darker cabinets, you could stain it to match.Worth every penny, especially because it is American made.

Great quality, easy to install
I’m impressed with the quality and it was so easy to hang. I love it! It’s going to be perfect for hanging my wool clothes!

Simple, sturdy design; made in USA
I wanted to share how amazing these clothes drying racks are in case you're ever looking for one. This is the 3rd one we've gotten. First was in FL / left it there when we moved to NC. 2nd was bought for new house 13 yrs ago and moved to our next home. It was still working fine when we took it down (to paint the post it was on) but I wanted a nice new one. Here she is! This is the large one / they make smaller sizes. I have gotten them from Amazon each time but they are from Pennsylvania Woodworks, made right here in the USA!!

FABULOUS!
This has literally changed my life! All of my clothes are hang-dry only, and I had no solution other than to hang them on doors while they dried. This hanger completely solves my problem! It's compact when not in use, but can hold over a weeks worth of laundry for me when I need it! It is also super well-made, sturdy, and honestly beautiful. If you are considering buying one, I highly recommend it!!

Very useful, large, sturdy! A couple fixable issues
Sturdy and large (looks larger than it seems in the photo). Very useful!! Two fixable issues: (1) You don't have complete freedom of movement of the arms in certain spots because the arms hit each other at the base when in certain positions (so I fixed that with an oscillating cutting tool by trimming them down a little around the base so they wouldn't interfere with each other). (2) The whole thing is propped up by a piece of wood fitting into a notch at the bottom; however, when you move the arms back and forth, it's easy for that wood piece to slip out of the notch and the whole thing collapse, which wouldn't be nice if you had clothes on it (so I fixed that by permanently attaching the wood to the notch with a screw)
