CSB Notetaking Bible, Sage Cloth Over Board, Black Letter, Wide Margins, Journaling Space, Single-Column, Reading Plan, Easy-to-Read Bible Serif Type

I was looking for a note-taking Bible and this is not only beautiful but easy to understand. There is no bleeding from highlighters or smears from using an ink pen. I love the Daily Plan and the extra information provided. Get a set of tabs and you'll be good to go.

My daughter wanted a Bible she could journal in, make notes about scripture and highlight without the color bleeding through - this one has it all!

This bible is an excellent option if you are wanting it for the main purpose of notetaking- which I was. This is not, and was never intended to be, my main study Bible. If you are looking for a bible with a ton of tools in it then this is not the Bible. There are no commentaries, cross references, or study notes of any kind. There is a daily reading plan, a concordance and a few maps. Hey However I would not mark this Bible down for that because that is not its purpose. For what it is made for it is absolutely perfect. I think of it as a journal for my devotional time with the Bible verses already added.Also, some people reviewed that this bible is missing chapters. Mine was NOT missing any chapters. I believe this was maybe a bad batch or an issue that happened a couple years ago that has been fixed.Here I will go over some of the main features.The Look:-This is the first time I have ever owned a hardback Bible and I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it. Normally I always go with leather of some sort. However the design of the cover is beautiful and it feels like it will be pretty durable,although only time will tell.-The font itself is pretty small, this is probably the only con of this Bible. I really wish that they would have made the Bible a tiny bit taller and have allowed for a larger font size. The font is a size 8, which can be a little difficult to read if your eyesight isn’t perfect.-Personally I am not a huge fan of the cream colored pages, although I know that many people prefer cream. What I can say about the pages is that I was very pleased with the thickness of the paper, which seemed appropriate for notetaking. Some of the other Bibles I looked into had thinner pages.-I absolutely love having the lines to write my notes on! I realize that some people do not like having the lines, but for me I get really anal about hand writing running crooked and so I prefer to have the lines. It also helps me to keep my writing more uniform in size, which I feel helps the Bible to look more organized. Although I like taking illustrated notes during sermons, I don’t like doing it during my devotional time because it takes more time to do. So for me having the lines, and the size of these lines, were just perfect.The Version:-I am actually new to the CSB version, but I am really looking forward to using it. Because this Bible is more of a tool for my devotional life (I am using it to read through the Bible in a year and a half and annotate the chapters) it was a perfect opportunity to try out a new version without feeling like I have to stick to it for my main Bible.-The research that I have done on this Bible version has shown that the translators of this version focused on a mixture of fidelity to the original Bible text as well as readability. What this basically means is that it lies somewhere in between a version like the ESV and a version like the NIV. To me this is a perfect blend.-It is worth noting that typically a characteristic of the CSB version is that the words of God are bolded. However in this notetaking version all of the fonts are the same. So if you are looking for that typical characteristic, you won’t find it in this Bible.Overall, I am excited about this Bible, and particularly since the cost was so reasonable I definitely would highly recommend this Bible.

Love this bible. I like the note section on the sides it helps me since I never seem to have paper around or forget to bring some to church.

I had not bought a Bible in 20 years and wanted to get one for note taking. Besides being absolutely beautiful it is very functional for what I need it for.

The delicate pages can occasionally crinkle, but unless you’re someone who needs perfectly smooth pages, this Bible is fantastic for note-taking! The wide margins provide plenty of space to jot down thoughts, reflections, or study notes. It’s a great choice for anyone who enjoys engaging deeply with their Bible through writing. Highly recommend for those looking to personalize their study experience!
