Kyo-ei Japanese Hiragana & Katagana Shitajiki Plastic Calligraphy Chart Size B5 (7"x10") / Pencil Writing Board

Nice writing board
Lovely shitajiki! Fits right inside of my B5 notebook (though since it has a spiral, it sticks out a little). Pleasant to write on. Love that it doubles as a kana chart too - though I wish it had the stroke order for the katakana like it does the hiragana!

Great Kana Chart
The media could not be loaded. This chart is great. I use it daily in my Japanese studies. I'm teaching myself through books, apps, music, & TV. This chart fits into my notebooks easily, so it can go anywhere my notebooks go. It's a nice, sturdy plastic & easy to read. There are a couple of kana (hiragana & katakana) repeated in the chart, & my only guess as to why (other than error) is to just fill in the chart nearly. It's not a big problem, so I'm not reducing a star for that.I definitely recommend this to anyone needing or wanting to learn Japanese hiragana & katakana!

It is not a poster
It’s as pictured, my bad for thinking it was a poster. I guess for those of you interested in this know that it’s as big as a sheet of paper.

Invaluable!
If you're just beginning a Japanese language course, this is going to be the most helpful tool in your book bag for quick reference.

Helped so much
I knew I would use this when I got it, but it is even more helpful than I expected. I was already practicing hiragana, but as soon as I got this sheet and began referencing it, everything clicked.

Not as big as I expected
Much smaller than I expected. I thought it was something like a poster but turns out it’s a card that is smaller than an A4 paper.
