CeraVe Blemish Control Face Cleanser with 2% Salicylic Acid & Niacinamide for Blemish-Prone Skin 236ml

The bottle itself allows you to lock the pump, making it very nice to store without worrying about spills and incredible easy to use. A 236ml originally felt small but after using it twice daily for a few weeks, the bottle is still more than half full - an incredible deal for the price it's set at. This means it'll surely last a while.In terms of effectiveness, the product itself works wonders even after a single use. It leaves the skin feeling and looking soft and helps to deal with possibly embarrassing spots and clogged pores. In my case, it effectively removed excess oils and made the skin look great. Of course, it doesn't entirely get rid of spots - it's not magic! However, in my case, it has helped to at least reduce the amount of them or conceal them a bit.For my oily skin, it removed the oils and made the skin feel soft rather than moisturise but this may be different on different types of skin.

This is the second cerave face wash I've tried, the first one was the foam cleanser. I suffer with acne around the jawline mostly so I thought I'd try this one. The foam cleanser helped but I'd still get break outs every so often. This bleamish control one has done the job so far, I've not had any further break outs since using this one so it's great and I'm about to purchase my second bottle of this one. There's no scent, it keeps my skin hydrated, where as the foam cleanser did dry it out quite a bit. This bottle is slightly smaller but it's still great value for money for the quality of the product and it leaves my skin really soft. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.

Best face wash for spot prone skin, doesn’t dry face out if you moisturise. Helps get rid of spots quicker leaves face feeling soft and refreshed

I had really oily skin, but with this soap it got much better!! I used to use it in the morning and before going to bed, but it made my skin dry. I now that I use it just before going to bed and it's enough for the whole day. I've been using this product for three years now and my skin has never been oily again thanks to this soap. A small quantity of the product is enough so it lasts a really long time. If you have normal or dry skin this product might not be good for you since the salicylic acid is quite strong compared to other acids, like hyaluronic acid.

I have really awkward skin - eczema on my eyelids, dry skin all over my face, but spot prone around my chin (thanks to endometriosis). I have been using this face wash alongside the cerave oil free spf day moisturiser, cerave retinol serum, and cerave oil free night moisturiser for a couple of months now and my skin seems the best it has in ages. Takes off makeup fairly easily (sometimes I have to double wash to remove all mascara or dark lipstick). No smell. Does not irritate my eczema or dry skin. Leaves my skin feeling clean. No skin burns to my cheeks (which I am really prone to due to my sensitive skin!)Good size bottle and pump is still working well. Will be re-purchasing when I run out but still have loads left.

I don’t know why i ever stopped using this face wash - it was the only one that didn’t break me out. I’m glad to be back using it again and my skin is clearing up. Definitely recommend! Has a pleasant scent and foams up nicely. The most effective face wash i’ve ever used. Also doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after.

I got this to try and combat the blackheads and oily pore issues I’ve been having. I buy all the other CeraVe products and saw this also had good reviews so figured it would be worth the try. Theres instructions on the back to follow for easy use (they’re self explanatory) and the pump makes it easy to use, which is nice to see they’ve continued to offer it across the range they sell. I noticed this had 2% salicylic acid in which is what made me want to get it as I’d seen a lot of people mentioning it as part of their skincare routine when doing some research on the topic. The addition of niacinamide is bonus too—its supposed to help soothe the skin and helps maintain the skin's natural barrier, which is crucial when dealing with blemishes.I love that this cleanser is unscented, making it gentle enough for daily use without irritating my skin. Even after two uses, you can feel your skin is different, almost gives an exfoliating feeling would best describe it. The 236ml size is perfect for regular use and lasts quite a while as a little does go a long way. I think it’s been a really nice choice and I’ve already got the cleaner toner and moisturiser so I’ve got a good little skincare routine going.
