These Are Freakin' Awesome!
It's very easy to tell if you need these. Go to the car wash, and towel dry your paint if you need to. Then run your fingers and palm along the paint. If it's not glass-smooth and/or you can feel any particles at all stuck on the surface, you need these clay bars. Or if you've just noticed that while your car is clean, it just doesn't seem as nice as you think it should after having been through the wash. These bars work like magic. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not drop these on the ground. If you do, you'll end up with grit and other hard pieces that will scratch the crap out of your paint. Don't talk yourself into picking the pieces out, because you won't get them all out and the slightest particle will destroy your finish. If you drop it on the ground throw it away and be happy that you have 3 more bars. You do not use these bars dry. The drag is ferocious if you do and you'll leave smears of clay behind. These are intended to be used with liquid. For painted surfaces, I use a spray bottle of detailer. I do this, because it's made to use on your paint anyway so it won't hurt anything. I'll just spray maybe 2 square feet at a time and then start gliding the clay bar over the sprayed area. You don't have to push down really hard at all. As you do this, you may start to feel the bar drag at some point. If you do and you're not done, just throw another squirt of spray down to keep it lubricated for a smooth glide. When you're done, wipe it up with a microfiber towel or equally appropriate cloth. Then run your hand down the area you just did and feel for yourself the huge difference. You may not notice a difference if your car is brand spanking new, since the grunge buildup hasn't had time to accumulate. Now, here's a bonus use for you. I suspected this would work and I was right... Your car windows! This is a big deal. Tell me you're not sick and tired of trying and trying to clean your windows. You clean and clean and finally think you're done and then after you step in any direction, you keep seeing that it's not clean at all. A sledge hammer would take care of it for good, but that's not good for extreme temperatures or rain, so lets just clean them properly instead. I'll do a quick traditional clean with window cleaner first. Then, I get another bar out and spray down the window with glass cleaner and go to work with the bar on the glass. Same method as before, only this time the lubricant is window cleaner. I use a different bar than on the paint because I don't want window cleaner getting rubbed onto my paint surface. Maybe it won't do anything, but I just want to make sure. It might take a little bit, but when you're done, your glass will be beautiful. You shouldn't need the bars on the glass inside, because that kind of grunge usually doesn't accumulate like that inside the car.

Good Clay for the price
Typical a single clay bar I buy costs $12 and I got this four pack for $20. I’ve recently started looking to try other brands. I’ve seen other viable options on Amazon for 12 bars for $20. Different brands; trying one at a time. I’ve been professionally detailing cars for five years. Claying by far is the most time extensive process but yields excellent results after paint correction and sealants.I want to set the record that all the 1-3 star reviews are from people that have no idea what a clay bar is used for or how to use them. Clay bars remove all contamination which means it also removes any protection layers such as waxes and ceramic coats; it is the whole purpose of claying. Now obviously you don’t rub the clay against a car without a lubricant or it will just stick and not be effective. I suggest buying a lubricant such as clay lube or making your own solution. I recommend you research making your own solution ratio because too much soap will eventually make your clay break down and turn sticky and it’s really hard to work with by that point. Making your own solution will save you money. Also, common with all clay bars; if you drop the clay on the ground you have to throw it away! You can tear it in half or you can use the whole bar; but as soon as you drop it it’s done!

Excellent and works!
Wow this product actually works and works fantastic. Did exactly what they are meant to do. Would buy again. Small dots of rust came right off the pain of the car without damaging our car.

As good as every other clay bar I've used
I’m thoroughly impressed with this 4 Pack of 100g Car Clay Bars! These magic clay bars have made a huge difference in the cleanliness and smoothness of my car’s surface. After using them, my car feels as smooth as glass. They’re incredibly effective at removing contaminants that a regular wash just can’t handle.I only needed half a bar for my full size sedan and it's lasted through 3 washes. I used it with a proper lubricant, and the process was simple—just glide the clay over the surface and watch the stubborn spots disappear. It leaves the car’s paint ready for waxing or polishing, and the results are like a professional detail job.The fact that it comes in a pack of four is a great value, so I know I’ll have plenty for future use. Overall, these clay bars are a must-have for anyone serious about keeping their car’s paint in top condition.

Great product for the price
Worked great, remember not to press hard and keep a spray bottle with slightly soapy water so the car stays lubricated. Great product for the price

They're ok but brittle
In this case, you get what you pay for. Stuck to the wrapping as I tried to remove it which wasn't a HUGE deal but as you stretch it out, it just becomes brittle and breaks into pieces. It should stetch a bit more so that was a little frustrating. Overall, it did the job okay but was a little difficult to work with. I'll probably use another brand when I'm done with these.

Good product, great price
There's not much to say about car clay but that means it's good. An excellent deal for the same quality you'd find for a much higher price.
