Remembering the thick cotton sheets of my childhood... in the dim and distant past!!... which were the devil's own job to iron and if, not done properly, could feel like sleeping on corrugated cardboard I have always avoided 100% cotton opting instead for polycotton. Wanting a valance for my bed but not relishing the idea of having to manoeuvre it under the heavy mattress I decided to give these a go. As another reviewer mentioned the cream valance sheets appeared quite lemony on arrival but, once rinsed through, matched my other cream bedding perfectly well and, once tumble dried did not need ironing... always a bonus!! Once on the bed they have stayed firmly in place which I had thought could possibly have been a problem as some fitted sheets have been known to ping off the corners in the past. These sheets are smooth, soft to the touch and I am very pleased with my purchase. Obviously time will tell how well they wear over the coming months and years but I think they represent great value for money and would certainly recommend them.

This 100% Egyptian cotton Frilled Fitted Valance Sheet is super quality.It has been through the washing machine and once dried was put straight to bed.If you need a quality Valance Sheet which is worth every penny, I recommend this to you.

Great fit on the bed and covers the base and mattress. Sadly the material is horrible, expected Egyptian cotton to be nice but it's hard to sleep on it and after only 2 washes it's starting to go quite bobbly as well!

This product came a few weeks ago and was well packed and is ready to use they are beautiful designed soft breathable deep side pleated valance sheet
