Soft White Living Room Color
These lights were exactly what I was hoping to receive. Now that LED lights come in all variations of brightness, and whiteness, and lumens, it was hard to shop online without seeing the color and gradation in person. Full transparency I did go to Lowes just to see what the difference in the description of brightness looked like. I had halogen bulbs for my living room recessed lighting that was soft white but more yellow. I was looking for an LED light replacement that was still a soft white but not as intense. This purchase was on the money!

Cooler than incandescent
Replaced ALL incandescent lighting in the kitchen and living room. NOTICEABLY cooler in the rooms now that we have LED lights. Both rooms are on dimmer switch: the LED lights dim gradually and beautifully, no flickering.

Very bright, very good value! Install as a set since brighter than other led BR30s! good color
2700K, soft white, as stated (don't buy anything about 3000K for indoor use). Unusually bright for the stated 850 lumens. The higher brightness (almost too bright!) is greater than other 850 lumen led BR30's I have. This brightness might reduce it's life, don't know yet. Usually you are lucky to get 10K hours but this is normal (unless you run them on a dimmer). Don't mix with other led bulbs since the difference in brightness is quite noticeable. I have used many led BR30's and don't know the life of these yet, so will update review as necessary. One tip is write on the install date on the stem of the bulb. They are also a very good value which is typically true for Sunco.

I almost returned these because they have a matte finish. The ones I previously purchased from same company were shiny and I wanted them to match. But I’ll keep them and integrate them around the house. They are fine and last a long time.
