These fans come really nicely packaged, good instruction booklet, and feel very professional. The grills look great and have a nice professional logo on. The variable speed is great - on the low setting they are silent, and barely audible on medium. on Hi you can here a feint whir if you are near, but if they are in a AV cupboard you won't notice. They shift a fair bit of air given the low USB power.I wanted a couple of fans to use on a Biltong drying box I was making. these fitted the bill perfectly. Powered by a USB wall wart I had lying around, one fan blowing in, one fan extracting, with variable flow. I removed the grills and rubber feet which are easy to do, and had to fit a different air filter, which is a shame given the nice appearance of the fans!They fill my purpose spot on, and I would highly recommend them as they are good value and nicely made/packaged.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this product. It is very carefully packaged, albeit in plain cardboard, in a way that indicates a lot of thought has gone into this product from start to finish. The rubber feet work really well. The fans are smooth and quiet (but not silent - you can hear the air moving, for sure, but it's low volume). Connected to a Playstation 4 Pro, these keep the device cool in the cabinet and no noisy Playstation fans need to kick in, I have found. I might buy some more to have on my desk this summer, actually as my 6" desk fan sounds like a jumbo jet. By way of experimentation, they also worked plugged into a Panasonic TV and my laptop, as expected. I think the killer feature with these is the rubber feet, top and bottom. They work so well!

The media could not be loaded. I am using these little 80mm fans pointing towards the vent on my solar generator. The fresh air helps with the cooling of my Ecoflow along with its built-in temperature-controlled internal fans. The two in this set use about 2 or 3 watts all together when on middle setting plugged into the usb port on my Ecoflow. Low setting doesn't use hardly any wattage but in my opinion isn't powerful enough for my needs. As for noise, they have bumpers on the corners to lower vibrations, and fans rotate super smoothly with no jerking. On the lower setting I can barely hear them. On the high setting only a quiet hum which I personally don't find intrusive...my other half who's super sensitive wasn't keen on top setting - however as everything will be ultimately mounted out of the way won't be a problem. If you watch my video you can hear the click when I change settings up and then down, suggest you turn up your speakers if you want an idea of the sound these make while running :) There's a toggle switch for Off, Low, Medium & High settings, with the cable long enough that I can put the fans behind my unit and have the switch around front for accessibility which is handy. On medium setting my Ecoflow isn't running its internal fans so often which is great as I know there's not too much build up of heat, better for longevity. They also run quieter than the internal one. As these are small in size they are not super powerful but used only a few inches away from the vents in my Ecoflow they are perfect for my needs. Hope this review helps those of you thinking about purchasing!

Worked as it should. Good price

There's fans do what I want them to do, the packaging was a lot better than I was expecting, really well presented.The fans are quiet, but there is an electrical buzzing noise which drives me slightly crazy, considering the price I don't think its fair to complain too much, it does what I want it to do well. I have a computer in not very well ventilated area and heat was building up when under heavy loads for prolonged periods, these fans do help surprisingly well even on the lowest setting just to shift the air away. If you are near the fans or fussy about noise levels I wouldn't recommend it, I can live with it on the lowest setting though, and I've started using headphones more often which prevents me hearing it too!If your using these for something over a metre away from you I'd have no hesitation to recommend them, if you sit near them they may annoy you depending on ambient noise around. I like to work in silence so I tend to turn them off when concentrating.

I have these on top of my new Marantz Amp because it's a slim model it get quite hot so these are a great way to keep it cool. I have one blowing air down on the power supply and the other taking the hot air up and out. They have a switch for the speed of the fan low,medium and high, low speed is very quiet the medium is quiet too but on high you can hear it on low volume tv or in between adverts when it's quiet. I set it to medium and on low volume tv or bluray or cd you cannot hear it at all. Before I bought these my amp got very hot after a few hours on a night but now with the fans on medium it's cut the heat down by half, Iv always said if an electronic product like an amp or laptop runs hot it won't be long before you start having problems with it.
