This is a very good and robust product. I have installed it on my new Swift Escape 685 motorhome to provide ac power to microwave and air conditioning unit, and it worked impressively well. The cooling is automatic and only comes when is needed. It has a very nice digital display that gives you voltage and amps input output which is useful to know. Low input voltage protection works very well protected battery going flat on a number of occasions. This is high quality device at an amazing price!

First impressions were goodIt has a good solid feel to all the parts, and is reassuringly heftyAfter install I checked standby current and was relieved to find it drew less than 4mVLast thing you need is a big draw on the leisure batteries when something is not in useI 'stretched its legs' during testing by putting on an 800w electric kettle and at the same time firing up a 700w microwaveHappy to report both were handled without a problemWould I recommend it ?Yes, for 99 % of users this unit will be more than adequateI have only had it installed a short while so cannot comment on long term reliability, but I have no reason to doubt it will be fine long term

I like the fact the fans dont need to come on until the load is high....and the fact there is no "inverter" hum. Its very light. As to performance....the low voltage drop out is set a bit high....so....unless you run at least 40mm square cable (I used electric welding cable) and keep the length down to 3 or 4 metres you will get a half volt drop on the cable when drawing about 100 Amps. I could load it up to 1.8 Kw but it trips out on 2Kws. The output regulation is poor at these limits with the ac dropping to about 220 v. I'm sure these are my problems not the inverters as my cable was 30mm square and 4 metres long. There is an excellent ready reckoner in the tech booklet. The remote control works well and is handy because the inverter takes 0.8 Amps when ON but off load....so handy for switching off if the inverter if its mounted in an inaccessible position. Yep....a good buy.....when I was a marine engineer rule of thumb for Inverter costs was a pound a watt....so just a few years ago this power would have cost at least £2000.

This failed on the first day when I connected a 1000W load. Lots of electrical arcing inside the device and now will not produce a 240V output at all. Worked fine with very low loads.

Nice look.easy to fit with included wires.Works well on 1000w. Very slight buzz detected.Not had much more on it as yet.Will test and use and update in due course.

Having had a renogy 2000 for 5 days wow the edecoa knocks the pants off it. I would advise anyone you need an inverter with a display no guessing then what your battery’s are doing. Also easy to install no faffing around. Please do invest in the correct size wires 70mm2 in uk.

Very very good value and it looks really good, the switch is a cool feature. works great without the annoying buzzing , tv and hifi no buzzing , fantastic!!!

excellent product. Works great and the remote switch/display is a real bonus, and reduces power consumption to a negligible value when the inverter output is not required.
