AcmeAcme Louis Philippe III Nightstand in Black

Very happy with this nightstand! It came completely assembled and no damages. The drawer depth might be small for some, but I think it's fine. It's bigger than I expected (a good thing) and it's sturdy. It's a nice piece of furniture. It goes well with a dresser that I have that was made by a different company (more pricey.) Overall, I'd say it's worth the price.

Like many other reviews, the nightstand came cracked even though the packaging and box were intact. It is smaller than I expected especially for the price. I was disappointed with the damage because it is a nice nightstand. Will be returning.

I'm not 1 for writing reviews but I had to do so on this item. I totally satisfied with my purchase. Delivery was on time and the packaging was intact. It was already assembled to all I had to do was take it from the box. I noticed the the edges were protected securely to prevent damages. My daughter and I are very happy.

This night stand is really cute and classy looking. Mine was a bit damaged on one corner due to shipping, but it STILL added that little touch that I needed for my much older Louis Philippe style bedroom set. This nightstand was smaller than the one that I originally purchased with my set, but it was perfect because my bedroom is small and I don't need to add another piece of large furniture to it.I colored in the corner with a sharpie and you can barely tell that it was damage unless you look really closely. I really like this style of furniture and it seems to be fairly easy to find pieces that match it, unlike other furniture styles that are often discontinued.Update 9/15/2017: I bought another one of these "used" off of Amazon after seeing that the price for the new ones had gone up. It arrived in nearly excellent condition with the exception of a crushed in place on the side of the top surface in a area where you would not notice it at first. I think that paying a little over $50 for a slightly damaged solid wood nightstand isn't too bad. The drawers are wood and the finish is gorgeous, just as the other one was. It WOULD be nice if the company could figure out a way to package these so that they aren't damaged when they arrive.

I bought two of these nightstands. One was in good shape, I am pretty happy with it. The other had two busted corners. I returned that one and had a replacement sent. This one has one busted corner, but it’s on the back side so I’m just going to paint it black and deal with it. If they could figure out how to ship these without damage, then it would be a good deal for the price.

Very easy to assemble, sturdy and good quality. A little smaller than I thought but worked perfect. Highly recommend

Handsome nightstands. Pretty inexpensive when I purchased them on sale. My only complaint is that I ordered 2x in black but received one in black and one in white. I had to take the bulky and heavy package up to shipper and send it back and had to allow amazon to authorize my CC for cross shipment. It all worked out in the end, so only a minor irritant.

There was no notable dents or rips in the shipment box. All edges were protected with foam and sturdy cardboard. So it appears the night stand was shipped knowing it was already damages. More importantly a disclosure was within the contents addressing the state of California warns that this product can cause cancer. My opinion this product should be ruled unlawful to sell. I will trash it, as I do not want anyone being harmed.
