Yes. The other outdoow antennae is 2x2 and does not have the 2nd ethernet connector.

Q: If mounted sideways. Will it still go the 600’ distance in 360 degrees?

We had it installed in 2 directions and it works fine in either. It will not go 600 feet or we close the shop doors. It only goes about 500 feet through thr doors.

Q: Is there a trick to getting it to adopt with the unifi outdoor flex switch? it adopts fine with injector, but adoption fails through flex switch.

This might be incorrect, but try forcing POE passthrough through unifi on the flex switch at the port you have the radio on. I have had to do this with some M5s through a 150w switch...might be the same thing. But maybe not.

Q: 2nd ethernet can one attach a "device"? this implies that the ap has the ability to function as some sort of switch i think, but i'm not technical.

The 1st jack is for PoE, and can also be for uplink, if not in mesh mode. The 2nd jack is for connecting to a LAN. So you can plug it into a switch, or hang a device off it. This allows you to broadcast a network via WiFi, and feed that network to an isolated stub, among one of many uses.
