It’s ok, getting better since it was delivered
It was very well packed. They also enclosed a little leaflet with information for the plants. The plant had some soil loose and leaves as it was delivered I suppose. But it looks like it’s getting more lively and nice weekly.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Arrival time was ok. Opened the box and the disappointment was immediate. Now I appreciate that sending out a plant has its obvious pitfalls, but having done it before and been quite happy, this might be the last! The plant looked like Ronaldo had been practising his penalties with it, and while there was a modicum of effort had been put in to protect the plant, it was nowhere close to the damage a size 10 predator boot can do!I have had a couple of Venus fly traps already, which have flourished and are cared for with love and attention, but this one sadly was beyond any medical intervention. I did message the company who replied that I should rinse it off with distilled water (we only feed our plants rainwater anyway) and that they are sensitive and can close during transport and after few days should reopen! Well, that's not blooming likely when they have already fallen off! I'm sure Marie Antoinette didnt need a haircut after she'd had her head chopped off! And despite best efforts the plant perished! I would have buried her in the garden but that would of been a bit too late!In short, don't bother wasting your money, wait until you go to a garden centre and can safely get one home that you know looks like you want it to!Xx Big love xx

Really good condition plant
Looks great so far. Packaged really well. No damage to the plant or leaves (mouths?!). Loads of heads as you can see. Instructions say it needs rain or distilled water from the base so we're trying to collect rainwater! But really pleased so far. I guess it's in our hands on how it lives from now on!

Packaging not up to standard.
This product arrived out of its plant pot with the soil all over inside the packing. Although the plant was reasonably sturdy upon arrival, I had to pot it up immediately to save the product. Consequently although satisfied with the product, the packaging was very unsuitable.

Do not buy!
The media could not be loaded. I would’ve had a healthier plant growing it from seed which wouldn’t have been much of a step back from what I’ve received. Damaged hardly, grown at all for the price I’ve paid and late delivery. From the photos you’re advertising I would’ve expected at least a couple traps already on the plant but I’ve just received a massively underdeveloped plant which I am not happy about at all. If I new this is what I was going to receive I wouldn’t have bought it, I would’ve waited and gone to a garden centre and hoped for them to have these but thought this would be easier and a decent plant considering the price of them.Do not buy unless you’re wanting something similar to the photos I’ve put on

Bedraggled little darlings
My venus fly trap (VFT) has arrived (a good 5 days early!) - it was packaged extremely well for the long trip to the UK from Germany and arrived with all "heads" intact. Some soil was trapped in the little maws, and it was probably a little drier than was comfortable for a swamp creature, but the plant itself is green and has just been watered gently and put in a bright space near a window, so I'm excited to start my journey with my VFT. (I'll update after the little darlings have recovered from their journey.)
