Q: Is there a back plate that allows you to fix to a wooden wall surface

It would have to be fitted via standard TV wall bracket which you would have to purchase. Also the back of the TV is not flat as it has two levels with the higher level obstructing the placement of my standard Motorhome bracket plate to fit without inserting spacers (screw nuts) for two of the fitting screws to bring the plate flat on the TV back. Not a particularly difficult modification but the design did surprise me. This is an excellent TV leaving aside the above problem with my TV bracket. I have used it on freeview and sat with great results. It stay fixed in my Motorhome all the time.

Q: hi how do you switch on the bluetooth for a soundbar?as mentioned in the spec cheers

Press the menu button then use the right arrow to move to the sound menu, scroll down to select Bluetooth and press OK (It's on the second screen so keep going down when you get the bottom entry). Make sure it says Bluetooth is on then go to Bluetooth Pair, let it finish searching and then select your device from the list.
