MDL Instant Light Smokeless Fire Logs - Case of 12 Logs

Really great product especially in this weather, if your starting to get chilled while having an evening barbecue just chuck a log on the fire and problem solved.No smoke, no sparks, just heat and a warming glow, perfect.

If you have an open fireplace then these are great. They’re1) easy to light2) don’t spark or snap3) leave very little ashThey do produce a little bit of smoke but it’s important to ensure the paper wrapper is burned away sufficiently. I normally light it at both ends then a couple of bits in the middle. The only time a log really produced a lot of smoke was when I added it to the fire without lighting it. I suspect it started burning within the wrapper but didn’t really produce any flame. Easy solution was to light the wrapper to burn a bit of that away. I suspect anyone saying they smoke a lot is having a similar problem.The only negatives with these logs are the price but if you are only burning for aesthetics and not to heat a back boiler or room then it’s not too bad given the convenience factor.

After years failing to get a lasting fire in my chimenea, and because I have concerns about the pollution caused by a regular log fire, I decided to give these logs a go.They are expensive, so occasional use only - but a single log is all that is necessary. It burned for well over an hour, giving a good attractive flame. Smoke was minimal. Lighting with a single match was a breeze, just lighting the wrapping without removing it was all that was necessary.We sat out of doors by the fire enjoying thin sunshine. The amount of warmth radiated was limited, but overall, it was a pleasant way to drink our coffee on a February morning

The media could not be loaded. Thai was perfect for our trip to centre parcs. The wood was smokeless. The quality of them was great. They burned for 2 to 3 hours. Perfect value for money as well. Will continue to purchase in future

These are perfect.I live in the Lake District so I wanted something other than carrying 50kg of wood around for an evening camp fire.These burn plenty and actually give off flames for a while so there’s plenty of heat. They cost the same as a big bag of wood, burn for as long, give off as much heat and actually produce a flame the entire time. I did expect them to glow like coal and the flames to die but it didn’t happen. 100% will be buying again.

I have bought this product before and it is excellent - burns for at least two hours. That said, the delivery was awful and I had to chase it before I got it. I believe that though I ordered it from Amazon, Evri were the deliverers and the logs finally arrived 3 days late. Evri made the excuse that there 'was a problem with the attempted delivery', even though I was in. This is a great pity as though these logs are great, I will hesitate to buy them again, thanks to the poor delivery.

Bought these it needs to always be the smokeless ones in my view. I think they last for a couple of hours burn time I’d haven’t actually time it to be sure, yes they do smell however there’s not too much smoking with them which I personally prefer we used in a chimneya outside
