Pooch & Mutt - Calm & Relaxed, Complete Dry Dog Food (Grain Free), Turkey and Sweet Potato, 2kg

Good quality, size, happy with delivery etc. Was a little uncertain about trying this food, my dog is incredibly picky, especially when stressed (which is all the time she is stressed incarnate). I have tried multiple different types of foods (wet, dry, fresh) and brands and she would go off them after a few days, to the point she was consistently losing weight and then gaining it slightly before losing it again as she’d sometimes skip for a day or two.However she loves this food. I’ve had it nearly a month and she hasn’t skipped her meals once, will even eat the kibble dry and genuinely seems to enjoy it. It’s no longer ignored despite our best efforts for hours, but eaten within at most 15 minutes depending on her mood. Which is such a relief for me to have finally found something she will eat with no worries.

I add a little hot water to these to release the flavours

My dog is particularly fussy with dry biscuit type food. We add it to some wet food and there’s always a grazing bowl of this should she need that extra bit. She’s very fit and healthy with a perfect weight. She loves this but never overeats. It has helped her digestion, she seems less anxious (we are also using Adaptil plug in) when left alone at home, she isn’t howling like she used to. It obviously tastes and smells great to her. I believe this product is of good quality and value for money for the difference it has made to our dog. So I have continued to purchase this here on Amazon. Nice sized too. Even the cats will nibble at them.

Every so often my dog gets bored of her kibble and we have to try something else. She loves Pooch and Mutt treats so it made sense to try this kibble.The ingredients are good with a decent percentage of fresh turkey included. No meat meal or cheap wheat fillers to bulk it out with so it seems a high quality kibble.They're rounded in shape and quite large in size, just slightly smaller than a five pence piece and they smell nice enough. The bag is resealable to keep the food fresh. They also contain ingredients such as Chamomile to help relax your dog.I can't say whether or not they really had much of a calming effect on a daily basis as my dog only ate a couple of meals worth of this food, although she did seem quite contented afterwards.She just didn't really seem particularly interested in this kibble. She ate a couple of meals then turned her nose up and refused to eat it again. I left it a few weeks and tried again but I had the same response so I can only conclude that she's just not keen on it, which surprises me to be honest.I'm glad I only ordered a small bag to try as it's not the cheapest of kibble available. It's quite expensive really but the price is reflective of the quality. I won't buy it again since my dog is not keen on it. That's not to say other dogs won't enjoy it though, my dog can be very fussy at times. But had she enjoyed this kibble then I would've been happy to purchase another bag.

I have a white shar pei who has a very sensitive stomach which can be hard when eating certain dog food. This food has been really good for him. He is usually a very hyper dog however with the calming ingredients, it seems to be calming him. Quite pricey but worth it as he loves the taste. Small bag doesn’t last long so may need to buy a bigger bag as my dog is large.

My dog used to bark all the time while I was working. He was put onto medication from the vets which he didn't take easily, I then tried CBD which worked to an extent I then saw this food and thought I'd give it ago...he didn't like the taste so I mix it with some wet food but WOW! the change in my dog is amazing he doesn't follow me everywhere and allows me to go to work without barking and howling all day I'm so happy and didn't realize how much easier this food would make both our lives 100% 10/10 would recommend!
