Moleskine 19 x 19 cm Square Size Art Collection Sketch Album, Sketchbook , Paper Suitable for Pens, Pencils, Charcoal, Colour Black, 88 Pages

This is lovely watercolour paper and the moleskin cover makes it perfect for when I'm out and about using. It's a nice size too -not too small to let me do a decent painting. I've bought a few of these as they are a great weight of paper and perfect for watercolour.

The size is very personal and connects you to the content after some time & it's perfect to fit into your pocket. I've tried a few watercolour washes but unfortunately the paper becomes grainy and displays dots all over the wash. It's absolutely perfect for pencil, pen and ink. The quality of the paper is very good and smooth. Very happy with the purchase!

I have recently started sketching, and this is a really nice size to take out and about for practice without announcing “I am an artist”..inviting people to look over your shoulder…I want to have a go quietly and get more confident before I let others see!

I have been using Moleskin books for some years and used them for sketching i. This ciuntry and around the world on trips. My previous purchased books had a slightly heavier paper which was very adaptable for pen and waterolour sketches but this latest purchase is of a lower density paper which wouldnt lend itself so well to watercolour which is why I only gwve it 4 stars

This is my favourite for sketching as the paper is 120gm which is really hard to find. Also the square format makes it easy to carry around and skeetch on even though it does not have a hard cover. This is my absolute favourite!

Good price for amazing pocket sketchbook on the go. If you like sketching, putting notes it's for you.It has soft cover so it may wear off quickly if you don't treat it with care. As a Moleskine fan I was happy, the size of it is very good for travels.

I bought this sketchbook as it was the one used and recommended in an online illustrated diary course and the tutor said the paper was thick enough to prevent bleed through. (I also bought the same expensive brand of double ended colour pens she used. ) But the pens DID bleed through, ruining my work, and I feel really annoyed! I read another review here which said the quality of the paper wasn’t the same as it used to be, and that is obviously the case. I feel this is very overpriced for the poor quality of paper and I shall not be buying it again.

This product is OK but I didn't realise this is a paper/card cover not a hard cover. I am also not a fan of the perforated pages as I don't like my pages to get torn out accidently. I also don't think the value for money is very good. It isn't bad just won't be getting another.
