Great buy.
Really good quality. It did the job my arms just got really sore 🤣 so I ended up getting a hand mixer.

Not built to last
Bought to replace an ancient similar hand whisk past down through two generations.Overall initial impressions were that the effort needed to spin the gears required a lot of effort and heavy resistance was met if spinning too fast. After approx 6 uses the blades separated from their fixing on the axles.A pretty inferior version of a simple yet useful kitchen tool.

Value for money.
Item is pretty sturdy but blades are of a cheaper metal so a little afraid they are going to rust.

Works
Best used with a square-sided receptacle as they are quite narrow. Beating four eggs in a rounded soup-bowl resulted in the yolks migrating out of the way and doing a lovely whisk on the "whites" until I chased the yolks around (quite) a bit.

It's not great but does work
I spent a little extra hoping to get a better product. I was wrong. It doesn't feel well made nor is it easy to use. When you get it going it is OK, but does require more effort than it should. Conclusion is to use a normal whisk and not this..

Sadly too fragile.
Whisking egg whites, 1st time, 1/2 dozen, so pressure builds up, the blades slipped up from the plastic housing on the axel, so their position adjusts and the whisking quickly becomes noisy and less efficient. Fixable in the moment with a little pressure down. Kept happening on one side. Should have returned (didn’t). 3 months in and it’s just too loose to work if whisking anything with pressure e.g. egg whites for meringues, which was its main job, and it slipped/broke as it tried to push it down again. Whisking lower pressure, yolks and the like great. Just a bit fragile I think.

Lightweight
Appears good quality and sturdy. Works well as a replacement for one I have had for many years as I don’t like electric whisks as a hand control led one doesn’t run away with you. Very pleased with purchase

Remember these?
A bit of a workout but better than a fork or whisk. Now building forearms like Garth, you need to be of an age for that one! Beats eggs and mixes as quick as you can turn the handle.
