Q: How thick is the watch?

The thickness of the case is 1.4cm(14mm) and thickness of the band is 0.4cm(4mm).hope you find this helpful.

Q: Is the watch suitable for a visual impaired child?

The watch is comfortably sized for an adult wrist. Lug to lug (top to bottom) is about 46mm. If the child's wrist is big enough across the top it should sit OK. Weight wise it's light and comfortable. The expanding strap will probably need to be adjusted to fit or replaced with a different strap. Width of the strap across the lug (where it joins the watch) is 20mm. Probably won't fit a little kiddie very well, but should be OK for a young teen / adolescent, maybe even a bit younger. Main thing to check is it will fit across the wrist I would think.

Q: I would like to buy this for a friend who has dementia with Parkinsons. Is the button as large and easy to push as it appears in the illustration?

The watch was very easy to use. The button is large enough to locate and use without a problem.
