These wall switch covers are the perfect solution for my toddler's room. Once she was finally tall enough to reach her light switch from her crib, I knew it was time to find a solution. So far the cover is toddler-proof! I have spent years creating a smart home system where lights now turn on and off simply by entering a room. Despite this, my wife, children and visitors have tendencies to flip light switches on and off. Rather than continuing the cycle of reminding them to simply leave the switches on, I purchased these plate covers and never looked back. I did not know these existed until I thought to search. Keeps my small human from turning on switches (gas fireplace) I don’t want him to turn on.

Removed screws associated with the light switch which needed the cover. Placed cover over the light switch and put the screws back in. Suggest putting each screw back in the same position. Screws didn't fit right and protruded from the switch plate when positions were reversed.The cover fit over a standard 4-gang light switch with no issues. Comes with screws. Can be installed with opening facing up or down. The joint is sus but the plastic seems somewhat strong, not the flimsy brittle kind.Fyi: it's bleach white and does not stay open like in the product photo and YouTube video thus the minus 1 star. Maybe the no tension cover will grow on me. Anyway, works as intended if not as expected.Update: After comparing this to the clear type, prefer the solid color even if it doesn't match the switch plate. Maybe possible to spray paint exact color if this is first painted with kilz adhesion primer.

These are terrific and keep guests from flipping the wrong switch. They came with screws and I am still able to flip the latch and turn the switch if needed. They match my light current switch plates perfectly and don’t stick out or look tacky. If you need to go the switch for some reason, all you have to do is push the button to in hook the cover and you are able to do so with ease. We have one on the switch for my outdoor post light. I replaced my light and we needed to turn the power to light off while we swapped both the light and photocell. These are very durable as they withstood my handyman turning it on and off several times with no problems. Great product!
