Over the years I have tried many different face washes but I always end up coming back to Elemis.A small drop of the gel quickly lathers into a thick foam, so one bottle lasts a long time.The face wash is very good at getting rid of grease and oil from the skin. After using this consistently I notice a reduction in the number of spots and have cleaner healthier looking skin.The gel has a nice smell and feels great to use on the skin which is good as it makes building it into your morning routine easy as it is something you want to do. Other products can have a harsh smell or a gritty texture making them unpleasant to use so you just don't bother.

Although relatively expensive for a facewash - I see this as very good value for money! Expensive it may be, but good it is too, I suppose you get what you pay for.You really only need a small amount of this (don’t listen to the product usage tips on the back - it says to ‘pour’ into your hands), you only need roughly a pea sized drop which will foam into a decent lather, which will extend the life of this product - potentially for months - although I have a subscribe and save for every three months which means I don’t have to worry about running out and I get it a bit cheaper.I’m new to using this type of high quality product, but it definitely works and leaves my face feeling incredibly clean - paired with an Elemis pro collagen face cream, my skin has never felt or looked as good as it does now - I’ll never go back to other brands!My wife is a little disappointed in these products as my skin is looking so healthy I’m starting to look younger than she is - I think she’s a bit jealous!I’d definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone, it cleans well, leaves my face feeling and looking fresh and is only slightly perfumed (probably from the natural ingredients) with a really lovely fragrance.Expensive, but worth every penny!

This is an initial review after only a couple of uses, so I'll update the review when I've been using it for a longer period. Initial impressions of the face wash were positive. It smells OK (not amazing) - the product listing describes it as 'peppermint' in scent (which it does contain) but actually the orange and oak oils are more dominant to my nose. The scent reminds me a little of something like the old Badedas bath gel with that "sweet but nutty" scent. Its a liquid-gel, it does flow/run. I found that it lathered up OK on stubble/beard, but barely produced any lather all on cleanshaven skin such as the T-zone. Its a yellowy light brown in colour, probably because of a mix of the jojoba oil and the use of CAPB as the surfactant. Its certainly not an 'all-natural' product and is fairly well packed with obscure chemicals in the ingredients list. I'll keep using it for the time being, but I found it slightly drying to my skin on first few uses. That, plus the poor lather and the long list of chemical ingredients including methylpropional has me doubting that I will persevere with this as a long-term option.

Always buy elemis for myself as it always agree with my skin. So have bought for the husband and it makes a difference. His skin feels more hydrated, and when it's on offer I feel it's worth the money. I don't tend to buy it full price if it can be helped. Always wait for a sale!

I used decleor face wash for many years and was completely satisfied, but they stopped doing it and I was not sure what could measure up! A relative suggested I try the Elemis face wash, and I must say it’s very good. You don’t need much at each shower as it’s quite a nice feeling on your face. I shall continue with this now until they stop producing it.

Although it is expensive, a little goes a long way. It is my favorite face wash. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed, clean and smooth and doesn’t dry or strip my skin feels of moisture at all.
