Demonfx DFG Gravity Dual Channel Overdrive w/Clipping Toggle Options

This is a pretty decent Pedal it sounds good and it's not really expen several of Demonfx Pedals and I have liked all of the ones I've purchased.They're worth checking out a highly recommend that line

While the pedal itself sounds great, I tried two different DemonFX Gravity pedals, and both emitted high a constant high pitched noise whenever the pedal wasn't activated.I tried it out with both my Truetone 1 SPOT CS12 and also with an EHX standard 9v power supply, but the noise kept coming through.The only way I was able to get it to lessen was to put a buffer pedal in front of the Gravity. I bought this pedal to save space on my board, so running a buffer in front of it wasn't possible and I ended up returning it.Not sure if it's just my experience, but wanted to flag this in case anyone runs into the same issue.

This pedal sounds amazing. BUT. It's unusable unfortunately. When you plug this in it emits a very high pitched sound, it's very low volume and almost not hearable, but if you mix it with high gain or other overdrive or distortion pedals the high pitch gets really loud.I returned the first one I ordered and got another one and it has the same problem.

This is meant to be a ts-10 and a klon going into each other, and I'd say they nailed it! The best part of the tone for this pedal is to run both and put a bit of reverb and delay on them for big solo tones and meaty mid range bite! I find the smaller enclosure to be a bit of a hassle for the closeness of the knobs. but that is a small gripe when this pedal is worth every penny.

The review is as much about the customer service of the seller as it is about the quality of the pedal. If you're familiar with Demonfx, then you already know that they are excellent 'recreations' of other pedals already in exsistence. I own about a half dozen of 'em, and they're built like a tank, have a great value-to-pricepoint overall, and most are a pretty close copy of the tone that they're trying to capture. If you're craving a $400 pedal and Demonfx makes a $70 copy, you won't be disappointed.I ordered two pedals in mid-Dec and UPS lost the shipment. Ok, it's Christmas time, so i waited until a couple of days after due to contact the seller, just in case. Of course, when I did contact the seller, Earth City Sound, that put it a day or two before Christmas so I wasn't expecting a whole lot of progress until after the 26th or so. Michael from ECS contacted me and after checking on it realized that, yep, UPS had done it again. Not only did he ship replacements out promptly, but included a really cool little 'swag bag' to say 'sorry' for a problem that really wasn't his doing. Respect for the customer and service that says 'Hey, we REALLY do care..' are few a far between these days, kiddos!!As I said before, the pedals are absolutely awesome on their own and at a great price, but the service from ECS and Michael made me a customer for life. Now Demonfx just has to come out with some new great stuff for me to pick up!!

This review pertains to both the Demonfx Gravity pedal and Earth City Sound Company. Earth City ships SUPER fast! Like I order something at night and it is on the way by midnight. Seriously, that fast! This time they also included a free gift that included a patch cord and a nice metal pill box with picks inside. Nice touch. I have ordered several pedals from them. I like the Demonfx pedals very much. Their construction is solid, with through-hole PCB's and discrete, quality resistors, capacitors etc. I have not been disappointed with any of their pedals yet, and the Gravity is no exception. Versatile, good sounding low to medium gain tones. The Routing, Lows, and Clipping switches are effective and useful. I'm starting to become a real fan of these dual pedals and Demonfx pedals as well. Maximum bang for the buck in sounds, construction, and price.
