This has quickly become my favorite kitchen gadget! I love that it combines both a blender and a food processor. The blender performs significantly better than both the KitchenAid and Ninja models I used to own—there’s really no comparison.As for the food processor, I have a few minor concerns. It only has one speed, and it’s quite fast. I wish there were an option to adjust the speed for more control. Additionally, the food chute needs to be locked in place for the processor to function, which means you can’t use the larger opening to process bigger vegetables. Instead, you have to cut them down to fit the smaller hole, which is a bit inconvenient. That said, the chute size is similar to other food processors on the market, so I’m just puzzled as to why the larger opening is part of the design when it can’t actually be used.

I love this blender. I've been waiting years for a Vitamix and was making do with the Nutribullet Rx because they are so expensive. I got tired of constantly having to completely unscrew the whole lid and move things around constantly on the old one to keep things blending unless using a lot of liquids. I wish i hadn't waited. This blender is a dream. I can make frozen fruit 'ice cream', soups, hummus, smoothies, whole fruit juices. I have done it all with no problems or overheating. I called Vitamix and this blender and the components in this bundle are included in the warranty. I haven't used the processor yet but will be this weekend so I will update this if I don't like it. The online business "NoYoke" has good recipes and tips for using these blenders also.

My old VitaMix is great but this one has more power and is awesome. I make my own nut butters so the high power helps for a creamer product. Having the food processor attachment is a plus as well. Everything stacks together for compact storage. I save so much money making my own rice flour, almond butter, soups, pesto, smoothies, and more! I also purchased the spatula designed for the VitaMix to provide easier clean out of food, also making cleaning a breeze! The VitaMix will save you time and money while aiding to healthier eating habits!

I was very disappointed with this product. I have a vitamix blender and love it. This bundle with the food processor is not made as well as the older models. The food processor lid did not snap on at all. It seemed not to fit. The blender container and food processor bowl were made with a thinner plastic than older models. It just seems very cheap for the price. I returned it the day after I received it. Such a disappointment. I do not recommend purchasing this vitamix bundle.

I wanted a Vitamix for years but couldn’t justify the cost when I had a decent blender and food processor. My husband and I became vegans 18 mos ago and make lots of things from scratch. The deal breaker was cashew ricotta for vegan lasagna. Done! Bought this Vitamix and have been so happy I did. It can handle everything!!!! The fact that I can make monthly payments made it so easy. Wish I had done this sooner.

I’m a big fan of Vitamix products, in my trip to America I purchased on Amazon the bundle Vitamix ascent blender with de food processor, I already had a vitamix 5200 that I bought in 2010 and I just love it, it got broken one time, it was fixed, but it was time for an upgrade to the ascent series.I still love vitamix, 3 things are very upsetting. 1 it spills whatever you are making everywhere, even in low speed, the speed doesn’t go even like the 5200, the speed oscillates a lot, if you open the middle lid it will spill.2. The design seems to be made to accumulate dust in the corners, it has some places that with time will get stains and it will be hard to clean.3. The food processor operates only in one speed, how come Vitamix? It is a expensive attachment to run only in one speed.Now that I used a second time I don’t think it is worth to buy the food processor attachment, it runs in only one speed, this speed is too fast and just pulverizes everything as if I would be using a blender, It doesn’t make sense to have just one speed, I wonder why did Vitamix do that, in my case I can’t return the product because I brought it to Brasil with me, but apart from loving my old Vitamix blender the I would give 4 stars to the ascend blander and 0 star for the food processor attachment.

Loving having this! We make smoothies about twice a day. I've made tomato soup (really does come out streaming hot), butter, and salsa too! We were hesitant at the price, but it's definitely worth the money to us. The only thing is, I personally don't like cooking more in depth meals so haven't really used the food prep part(s) yet.
