This was bought for a home office. This mat is very well made and solid in quality. It comes folded in three sections. The mat flattens completely due to the stiff backing and quality of the materials used. The colourful design pattern looks great. My chair feels stable and moves well on the mat. It glides slightly less quickly than the previous polycarbonate mat, but a good trade-off since this mat will not crack

This is a very well made mat and I have had a few recently.The backing is a strong tough plastic which makes it suitable for carpets.The top layer is a good quality finish that foes not look cheap and is comfortable with bare feet.The edges are cloth bound and the cloth and the stitching are of a high quality.The chair moves easily on the mat despite the fact that it is on a carpet.I will be getting another for a different location.The colour is a dark grey, but slightly blue rather than neutral.

Just got the mat, very good grip on my carpet and chair rolls around on the surface very well without slipping too much. The flatness of the mat is also great, doesn't fold up on itself or feel weak. Good for a small space where you do not want to harm a carpet or any other floor.

Like the pattern and colour of the mat and it seems to be doing the job of stopping my chair indenting the carpet as much. But there are a couple of issues to be aware of;Chair rollback - if you fit the mat lengthways towards desk ('portrait mode') then if your chair has wheels it will roll back into one of the folds (the mat folds-up for delivery). To avoid chair rolling back need to fit the mat widthways across front of desk ('landscape mode') if you have the room.Levitating edges - if you plan to fit the mat onto carpet which has underlay (aka 'padding') then the mat 'levitates-off' the carpet at the edges of the mat, even more so at the corners, which creates a trip hazard. Also, if you briefly move your chair off the mat then these raised edges make it difficult to roll the chair back onto mat.Finally, thought it was a bit pricey at £40

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely astonished at how nice this looks! We've had one of those clear plastic mats forever. Came across this chair mat and wasn't expecting much, tbf. What a pleasant surprise. It it substantial, stays without moving about, easy for the chair to roll on and protects the floor. It was useable straight out of the box. It laid flat nearly immediately. My husband is pleased that it gave his office space/mancave a style boost! Wholeheartedly recommend!

Great carpet finished well good value for money looks good and chair even glides when seated just the job
