My family of 6 absolutely LOVED this shade. It's super easy to set up and take down. The material seems pretty durable, although we only used it for 2 days, so it's still too early to tell. It held up well in moderate wind and most importantly, kept us nice and shady on the beach. Everyone was able to sit in/under it at the same time! We took our small dog with us for the first time and this was a life-saver for him. Enough room to move around and a safe place to retreat and relax when he got too hot. We even had several people stop and ask about it. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I'm super happy we bought this and will definitely use it a lot. 10/10...would absolutely recommend.

Love this sun shade! We bought it for the 4th of July, and it comfortably fit six adults and two children underneath, keeping us all shaded throughout the day. Setup and takedown were quick and easy, and its lightweight design made it easy to carry along with our other beach gear. While it wasn’t especially windy that day, there was a steady ocean breeze, and the sun shade stayed securely in place without any issues.

Worked great! Not hard to set up. Withstood the wind on the beach. Nice material. Great size!

This is the best item I have EVER purchased from Amazon for the beach. We used this tent in Perdido Key, FL. It was so simple to put up, everything fits nicely in the bag before and after use. We had one very windy day but it held up no problem. There were 4 of us girls and we had it up within 5 minutes. The key is to fill the corners full of sand first then place the poles in and secure with band. We did use the small shovels, but we mostly used our hands b/c the sand there is white and powdery it was just quicker. We did give the bottom “feet” a twist and dug a hole to sit them in on the very windy day. Tent never budged, it was great!!!

Best investment I have made this summer! If you’re tired of struggling to set up a standard canopy at the beach you need one of these!My daughter and granddaughter’s go to the beach often in the summer. What we dread the most is struggling to put up the canopy!! As you know the wind is fierce on the beach. This was so easy to set up for us girls.This canopy is so sturdy and can withstand the fierce winds. I have had a lot of people asking where I got it . I have been spreading the word.

Very happy with it. Worked great on a beach vacation in Florida. Super easy to set up. The canopy lets just the right amount of light in. (It’s not a solid shade). I did not have any wind issues. As the sun was low on horizon I moved two polls about a third of the way in and lowered that side to function as a side shade. I did have it set up low so you couldn’t really stand under it but I like it that way. We are sitting or lying down when under the canopy anyway. I got 10x10 and it was perfect for the family of 4.

Not quite what is advertized...First day at the beach it took about 45 minutes and 3 sides caving in at a time before i got the flimsy thing to stand up. The tent then collapsed when the weight bags pulled out of the sand they were buried in. The people beside us offered to assist holding it while securing. Added water-packed sand to the bags and it held a bit better.Second day at the beach I could not get the cover tight enough to not hit us in the head while SITTING under it, kept having to zip tie the ends and additionally fold each corner several times to stay still and not flop around so much. The material apparently had to stretch itself out and gave it so much more play.Third, fourth, and fifth days at the beach, we decided the tent was too much of a pain to maintain while trying to enjoy quality family time, we used chair umbrellas instead.When we got home I took the tent out to clean it in the yard and used the provided pegs to anchor it. Those proved to be too flimsy to hold the tent up, one of the pegs broke in two places while trying to sink it in the ground so I had to use a peg of my own. One of the corners has a small rip from having to fold it up and zip tie it so much on the beach. It rained right after trying to clean the sand off in the yard and 3 out of 4 sides have collapsed, it can't hold the moisture and it gets too heavy for the small posts, and the pegs come flying out of the ground like trebuchets - sending pegs and mud to the other side of the yard.This might be a good tent with better structure support and tie-downs, the sand bags should be a bit heavier to keep wind from pulling them out of the ground, and it needs more sturdier pegs to sink in the ground for non-beach use.I can't say I'd recommend this one, especially for the price I paid.

We find this easier to set up than our scissors type canopy. No pinched fingers, can easily be done by one person, and much much easier to pack in and out of the beach.Follow the directions on filling the.pouches and digging holes to set. Wind will not bother the canopy when done this way.
