It came assembled, it just needed adjusting for height. Well-made, looks exactly as pictured, has a smooth surface for either writing or scrolling, and it's big enough to hold my granddaughter's Chromebook and a pad of paper to write on. It's light enough to be portable and it folds smoothly. I love the drawer as it can hold plenty of pens or small gadgets that she'll need for her online classes.

I had another lap desk that I stopped using a long time ago. it wasn't adjustable and wasn't very wide. I decided to give it another try and this time focused on adjustability. I actually saw this in a YouTube/TikToc Best of Amazon video.What I like:The adjustable height of the overall desk. Its great. I can set it for exactly how high I need itThe hardware. the lock for the legs (open & closed) works great and is simple to engage/disengage. The stand to change the of angle the desk is metal, not plastic. The included hex key that you can store in the drawer; great.The features. The removable book rest is great if you want to use your laptop or take it off to set another tray on top. And it stores easily in the added drawer when not in use. The added drawer! That's the best addition. The cell phone rest with the hole to thread your charge cable through: these are all great details someone really thought aboutManufacturing. It is well made and well finished, with no sharp or chipped edges. There is nothing on here that would prevent me leaving a child around this desk.Dislike:I would have said the price, but the features and finish make this desk worth it.I would not say it is lightweight, but it isn't heavy. It just might be a bit awkward carrying it around in the folded up position (not really a carrying handle), but this one wasn't a discriminator for me. If it was too light items on top might not be well supported or it might tip over if unbalanced. These are not issues with its current weight

This foldable desktop is well-made, sturdy, and functional. I especially like how the middle panel can be lifted, which makes it versatile and easy to adjust for different uses.

I will give this 5 stars, because I had read the good and bad reviews, and although I do agree with some of the complaints... Overall experience is that it is everything I was looking for.Sturdy: I found to be very sturdy on top of the bed. My laptop is super heavy so on the highest level it was tilting way forward. I had to put it on the next incline level for it to hold its own. I totally understand this happening because the only way to fix it is to make the table super heavy, which totally would not comply with the purpose of a portable table.Lightweight: I am really confused as to why some of the negative reviews said this was not easy to carry, or that it was super heavy. You need both hands to carry, but come on, it is easily achievable.Well-made: My husband works with wood and he recognized it was well made. No idea why some people say it cracked easily and such. I would blame the postal service carrier. Maybe they did not handle it well and let it fall?Perfect condition: I received a new product, no damages. All the pieces that were meant to be in the box were there.Fans: They work excellently well. They do keep the laptop cooler when gaming, and I must say I was a little bit skeptical about that.Drawer: It does not get stuck like other bad reviews say. However, do not expect to fit many things. It would fit a slim mouse, slim tv/AC remote, some pencils and pens, but that is it. You would not be able to fit all of those there, you would most definitely have to choose. My logitech mouse does not fit at all.Cellphone groove: I really was not planning on using this, I did buy a stand that I really enjoy using, but the only reason I mention this is because the company used it as one of the table's perks when advertising. First of all the groove is way too far behind. Second of all if your cellphone has a bulky case covering it to protect your cellphone, you cannot use this feature. It just won't fit. I suggest taking into consideration that most people use bulky cases on their cellphones and they should make the groove bigger or provide with a wooden bamboo stand that you can put and take off without the need of having to make a groove there.Shipping: Waiting for this package was an absolute nightmare. I recommend to the manufacturer/seller to not use UPS for the shipping of this product. They are slow slow slow. At one point my package was lost. I had to call UPS several times. I was offered a refund by amazon, but I read there were no other tables available and I wanted this so so so bad. It met all expectations. I hope it lasts a really long while. I just got it, but I am in love.
