Q: I don't see that it says prewashed on the bag. Has it really been prewashed?

The instructions for cooking on the back of the bag begin with: "Kirkland Signature Organic Quinoa is pre-washed, no need to rinse. " That being said, I always wash quinoa well myself, then dry it out by toasting it in a hot cast iron skillet. It's easy to do, and I think it improves the taste and texture of the cooked quinoa. This optional step keeps the quinoa from clumping together.

Q: No mention about gluten on the package,yet you claim it is gluten free.Please clarify

Above the barcode on the back of the package is a symbol and statement that it is certified as being gluten free.
