You really do need this!
I was literally days away from selling my above ground pool because I didn't have the time to keep it as clean as I wanted to be able to just dive in once I got home from work. I saw an ad for a robotic vacuum on the F-book place and thought it would really be cool to get one so I could enjoy my pool rather than just clean it and float for 10 minutes. Well, once I saw that price I checked Amazon and found this one, and for the price and with the reviews it had I thought I would give it a try. I AM KEEPING MY POOL! This thing flies around my above ground pool until it runs out of steam leaving nothing but sparkling vinyl in it's wake. When it is finally spent I carefully lift it out, keeping it level, clean it, charge it and send it back on it's merry way. It only takes a couple hours to charge so I take it out in the evening and drop it in in the morning. This and the addition of a $17 skimmer bowl-type thing and my pool is ready anytime I want to swim. This really has been a gamechanger in my enjoyment of my pool. It runs about 1-2 hours on a charge and the pool looks better than when I used to spend an hour just using a handheld vacuum and a skimmer screen.

Great little vacuum.. and NO cords or hoses to deal with!!
The media could not be loaded. Update: I've used this maybe 60 times, and the battery is completely shot. Lasts for 5 minutes maybe. Buyer regret.. ughI’ve gone through so many vacuums owning a pool for decades. With this little guy though, no more tangled hoses or twisted electrical cords! As with home robot vacuums, the suction isn’t as good as a powered vacuum, but I do have to say that I’m impressed with it. Sometimes it does leak a little sediment as you take it out of the water, but not much. We have an incline from shallow to deep end, but it’s not a huge incline. Sometimes the vacuum doesn’t park itself where I want it to go, as it occasionally stops when the battery dies. I think it’s programmed to start the parking process at a certain battery level, but since it has to make it up an incline, the battery level probably drops quickly, and then it sits there. If it’s against the edge, it’s easy to get it, but when in the middle of the pool, it’s a bit of a pain in the neck as we need to go in. Still better than cables and hoses!Overall, this is such a frustration saver. It runs for about 90-100 minutes, suctions well, and comes back to daddy… and daddy approves. If you had to deal with hoses and cables, and are fed up with tangles, storage, and the time to put it all away, then this may be a great option for you. Hopefully the next revision will have a bit longer battery, but I would definitely recommend it.

At first I had my doubts...
But, I let the vacuum run. And by the way battery life is awesome, I still had juice on the battery after running her for 1:20 minutes, our pool is a 24' x 12' x 52" 8,401 gals the bot did good! When I came out to check and remove bot from pool, I was amazed. The pool was sparkling clear on the bottom of pool. There was some tissues, which is visible from the photo. It was all over the bottom of pool. Well, it picked it all up not one piece was left behind. If you look closely you can see leaves. It even picked up a screw cap.I am absolutely, thus far, impressed!I'll have to do a follow-up in a month or so. Bcuz items made these days don't last long it's the new American way, I guess, to make products to only last a short while so the customer will be more apt to buy into another one...But like stated before, this product bot, so far so good!At this point I would definitely recommend this vacuum botThe suction is great! It fills with air quick and gets right to work, It even goes up the wall just a bit. It's really a good product!A bit heavy when trying to remove from pool but expected..Easy peasy, I feel like a have so much more time and I do, who knew?!

Great customer service
Edited:Since my review, I have changed my rating on the product because of their great customer service. The company contacted me soon after I posted my review to offer to fix my product or send me a new one. I really appreciated the offers and would recommend purchasing from them in the future due to this.‐-----------------------------------------------------I have a large oval above ground pool and am a first time pool owner. I unfortunately have a silt/sand issue and nothing I was doing was working to get it out. And everything I tried was just leaving the pool cloudy. I gave up and ordered this device per many others recommendations. Maybe I just bought a lower grade device, but this is still producing the same bad results that every other method was.It does run for 2 hours and does require a 4 hr charge. The debris, silt, and sand does get caught in the compartment, but is also does blow some of it back and up into the pool (producing a cloudy after effect). It moves much faster in the water than expected, disturbing and kicking up another of the debris as it moves. It also hits the wall of the pool fast and hard making it fly up off the bottom of the pool and kicking out some of the debris it had already caught. It turns off anywhere in the pool, so I have to try and find it in the cloudy water. And it follows no real pattern in the water. It just goes in random directions. Lastly, when removing it from the water, you have to move quickly as you will spill out some of the debris in the process.Overall, I'm really not happy with this purchase, but it is at least getting some of the silt/sand out each time I run it (2x a day for the last month). Wish I would have spent more money on a more recognized brand/product.

Long charging time, and only about 10 to15 minutes of run time.
Pool vacuum works awesome….while the battery is charged. The battery only stays charged for maybe at best 15 minutes at a time, and it takes around 12 hours to charge fully. I expected better.
