Another great entry in the Pretty Princess series.
A lot of reviews and people online are comparing this game to animal crossing, but other than superficial appearances, they aren't alike at all. The gameplay here is more similar to "tycoon" or "management" style games. You build buildings, plant crops, craft items, and everything's on timers. The game keeps the fashion/dress up elements from the first game and similarly has many decorative items to use to decorate your island, though these are optional elements of the game, unlike the first entry. If you're looking for an animal crossing alternative, this isn't it. There's no home decoration (or home at all), the villagers are very simplistic (similar to the first pretty princess game), there's no day/night cycle, and the fishing and bug catching does not nearly have as many to "collect" as the animal crossing games do. Rather, these are used as more of the crafting/refinement pipeline, rather than as a collectathon. That said, this game is plenty fun and doesn't have "down time". Between the decorative elements, the resource management, and the general "Pretty Princess" aesthetic, I've genuinely enjoyed my time with this game.If you're interested in the decoration aspect, go buy Pretty Princess Party (the first game in the series) instead. That one is focused on those elements. This is more about farming, refining, and crafting.

Overly Cute, Slightly Boring Animal Crossing but I Like it
I am probably too old to be playing this game. I like it. You can tell its basically a bare-bones Animal Crossing dupe but just extra cutesy and is basically like a decorating simulator. I think it would be boring for young children because you have to craft materials and WAIT for them to be finished (on set timers) and then complete quests to level up and get more decorations by giving the bunnies the requested items which can become really boring after some time, especially for younger kids who want to get things over with. There isn't much to the soundtrack either, especially on the island you spend most of your time decorating. It just loops over and over. I have to mute the game and put something on because eventually I feel myself becoming a beautiful anime princess who is stuck on an island with 3 other slightly useless princesses. For adults who have patience and want Animal Crossing but a really slow and unicorn-y version I think its cool. For the price I got it for ($15) I'm not mad at all with the content or lack-thereof. It gives me a reason to just space out and enjoy the moment.

Very fun!
I am an adult with a inner child. I highly recommend this game and the prequel game. Fun mini games and the story line is very interesting. I love the option of customization and vibrant colors.
