Easy to install
I bought this latch for the inside of a bathroom door in my RV. There was no way to lock the door from the inside For privacy. It was easy to install, and has worked well so far. I went with this option because I was able to install it high enough that my grandchildren cannot play with it and accidentally lock themselves inside the bathroom. It’s would work great on a barn door as well because it doesn’t protrude far from the door for sliding clearance.

Sturdy and attractive gate latch
I purchased this latch for an outdoor gate. The gate is on a slight angle to the post. I had purchased another latch a few months ago from Amazon and, because the gate and post were not perfectly in line, I couldn't get it to latch completely. The new latch secures the gate, no more opening when the wind blows. Besides, it is sturdy and looks attractive.

Sturdy, easy to install
We use these latches on the outside of our daycare gates. They are small, well made, no rough spots or chipped color. I would use heavier ones for livestock but these do a great job keeping toddlers in the yard.

Solid and sturdy
This latch came exactly as pictured. Easy to install and very sturdy. It is a good size and not flimsy at all. I have no worries about it wearing down over time.
