Indiana Jones INJ RE Birr for 4 YEARS+, Includes Figure

Looks pretty close to the original and a cool collectors item. My son took it out to play with it and loves the accessories!

I'm a sucker for retro style figures.. Star Wars Marvel DC etc etc. This new retro IJ line is a no brainier. I feel like mom just bought me one at Zayre c. 1984.As must have for collectors!

The whole reason I wanted this was to display it in the package, hoping that when I looked at it I could feel an echo of the thrill of being a kid and going to the toy store and dreaming of owning all the toys I wanted. Get this! It arrived opened! Now, I don't think someone opened it. I think the Hasbro company cut corners on the glue used to secure the bubble to the cardboard.I'm going to send it back, but I still feel qualified to review the figure: even by the standards of retro figures, it seems kind of crummy. To be fair, it does perfectly mimic the original line of Raiders of the Lost Ark figures from the '80s. But let's face it, those figures weren't very good to begin with, especially compared to the superior Star Wars and GI Joe figure that were the same scale. The legs of this figure are kind of messed up and I don't think it would be able to stand very well. So yeah I don't even know if I'll try to find a replacement. I still have my original Raiders figure, I just think Indy looks cool with the necktie.

Product was good, card was bent and creassed. Damages the value, collectability, and for displaying.

This Indy figure is excellent, but hasbro needs to use stronger glue…and Amazon, please use boxes that fit….
